Empties #3 featuring Xen Tan, Pixi, Elemis, Macadamia & more!

So it is empties time again! There's something very satisfying about finishing products for me - the opportunity to try new things or just to make some room on my heaving shelves! I have a variety of empties to share with you today - hair, body, skin care & 1 make-up product.

I'll begin with the hair care products. Firstly, I have a bottle of Sebastian Professional Penetraitt Shampoo. I had heard so many good things about this product, but it just did not live up to the hype for me. My hair felt completely stripped. I live in a hard water area so maybe that didn't help, but I definitely would not but this shampoo again. I finished 2 hair oils this month: Percy & Reed Volumising No Oil Oil, which was just a mini size that I had received with a magazine. It has lasted a long time as a little goes a long way. I really, really like this product - it is very light, has a very light, fresh scent and really does add volume. I would repurchase at some point in the future when I get through some more of the many, many hair products that I have on the go at the moment! The second oil is Macadamia Healing Oil Spray - I love this product. I used it as a finishing spray & it really added a fabulous shine to my hair. I will definitely repurchase.

On to body products! I fly through body products! First up is L'Occitane's Almond Shower Oil - why did it take me so long to buy this product?! So many people have raved about it for so long & it totally lived up to the hype! It is so, so moisturising but does not leave a greasy residue. I found it ideal for on holiday & post-holiday/trying to maintain a tan time! I adore the scent & this will be a definite repeat buy for me. I would also love to try the matching Supple Skin Oil to complete the experience! Staying on the post-holiday theme, I also finished an after sun from Lancaster. This is a fantastic product. I know that it is more expensive than most after suns but it is totally worth the price tag - it really has helped to maintain my tan and my skin is deeply moisturised. I will definitely buy this again the next time I go on a sun holiday. I also finished a tube of L'Oreal Paris Sublime Bronze Exfotonic Body Polishing Gel Tan Optimiser - I think this is a brilliant scrub at a great price of only £7.99 and another bottle of Nivea Q10 Plus Firming Body Lotion - again another budget favourite at only £6.99. I really love how easily this lotion absorbs into the skin & moisturises, without leaving it greasy. I loved the Manuka Doctor ApiNourish Foot & Heel Cream and have already repurchased this! Finally for body products, is the Xen-Tan Moroccan Tan - my favourite fake tan, it will be forever repurchased.

I finished four face products & they are all items I either would repurchase or already have! I love the Elemis Pro Collagen Advanced Eye Treatment , which I bought in a set with the Pro Collagen Cleansing Balm. It is a very hydrating serum for the eye area & I have already repurchased. I finished my first bottle of Pixi's Glow Tonic - my favourite chemical exfoliator. This leaves my skin very soft and it looks much clearer since I started using it. I finished yet another bottle of No7 Beautiful Skin Eye Make-Up Remover - my favourite eye make-up remover. I find that it removes every last trace of make-up very easily & does not sting. I finished a tube of Yon Ka's Vital Defense & absolutely loved it - it is so light on the skin, yet very moisturising - perfect for dry/dehydrated skin.

Finally, the one make-up item I finished is a foundation. It used to be my holy grail foundation & it is now discontinued (sob, sob!). It is Jemma Kidd's Light As Air Fondation and I eeked every last drop out of this tube! I would love if this line ever came back into production!

So that's my latest lot of empties. I fly through products so no doubt, I will be back with another one of these posts very soon!

Have you tried & loved any of these products?
