Currently loving theBalm products!

theBalm is a brand that I've only become aware of in the last few months, but the more products I try, the more I love! I adore the retro packaging of the products & that they are all really compact. It is also a very affordable brand with blushes & bronzers starting at £13.50, yet the quality is as good as high end brands.

The love affair started with the Nude 'Tude eye shadow palette, which has 12 shadows for £26.50, more than £10 less than the Naked palettes. I love how long wearing these shadows are and also the variety of shades. It is more than just a nude palette as it also has deeper shades, such as Sexy, Sleek, and Serious. The highlighting shades are also beautiful - they are shimmery but don't have clumps of glitter & no fall down. I would definitely recommend this palette to anybody who wants to buy a palette, but can't afford a MAC or Urban Decay. You won't be disappointed.

The next product I bought from the range is the Mary Lou Manizer - a beautiful highlighter that has a very soft, buttery texture and is easy to blend. It gives the skin a beautiful sheen, but isn't too sparkly so you avoid that dreaded disco-ball effect! Stunning! The quality is amazing for the price.

In the recent Feel Unique sale, I purchased the Bahama Mama Bronzer, which is a deep, matte bronzer. When I first looked at it, I thought it might be too dark for me but I find it brilliant for contouring in particular.

Finally, I have 2 blushes: Hot Mama & Frat Boy. Hot Mama is a dupe for Nars Orgasm, which I love. It is a pink with a slight gold shimmer that translates into a very healthy glow on the skin. Frat Boy is very like Nars Deep Throat - peachy coral.. Both of these shades are right up my street. The lasting power is amazing with both. Highly recommended.

So that's my theBalm collection so far, but I definitely think I will be adding to it. The quality for the price is amazing. I'd like to try something from their lip collection next, or maybe something from the skin care range.

Have you tried any products from this range? Do you have any recommendations for me?

    1. They were all reduced in the Feel Unique sale, so it's worth keeping an eye out for the next one!

    1. It's a beaut & a good price - I bought it during the summer when Feel Unique had their offer for £10 off an order of £25 so I really got it at a bargain price!
