REVIEW: Aveda Botanical Kinetics Exfoliant

I recently finished a bottle of Pixi Glow Tonic and thought I would change it up & try the Aveda Botanical Kinetics Exfoliant because it was in the Look Fantastic sale and I also had an Aveda facial last year where the therapist used this & it had been on my mind since then. It is a chemical exfoliator, which I apply with a cotton pad at night after cleansing. It gently exfoliates, yet is very effective at brightening my skin by removing dead skin cells. It is extremely gentle on my sensitive skin and I have not had any redness or adverse reaction to it at all. I follow it up with my beloved Dermalogica Ultra Calming Mist, serum & moisturiser.

It has not stripped my skin at all, which is fantastic for my dry/dehydrated skin and it is great at keeping spots or little bumps under the skin, at bay. My main area of congestion is my chin & this product is very effective at keeping that area clear. I have literally no complaints about this product and have decided to buy the mask that was also used during my facial to work in conjunction with  this - because I reeeeeeeeeeeeeeallllllly need another mask! (Sense the sarcasm!)

If you like the Clarins Gentle Exfoliator Brightening Toner or Pixi Glow Tonic, then you will like this product. I prefer it to the Clarins version actually!

Have you tried any Aveda products?
