REVIEW: Real Techniques Nic's Picks Collection

I've loved Real Techniques brushes for a long time - their Expert Face Brush is my all time favourite foundation brush. I'm a big fan of the lovely ladies from Pixiwoo & I think their tutorials are fantastic. Theirs was the first channel that I subscribed to on youtube and it has been amazing to see them go from strength to strength. The majority of my brushes are from Real Techniques - they are brilliant quality at a really affordable price.

This latest collection is Nic's Picks and it has three new brushes that were not previously available - I knew I had to get my hands on it as soon as it was available! The duo-fibre powder brush & base shadow brush were in previous collections. I particularly love the base shadow brush as it can be used for both shadow & concealer.

The cheek brush is my favourite of the three new additions. It is incredibly soft to touch, yet firm enough to apply enough product, with going overboard. It is tapered, so can be used for blush, bronzer or highlighter. I actually prefer it to the original blush brush.

The angled shadow brush is perfect for using in the crease of the eye for contouring. I've been loving using it with my Charlotte Tilbury Golden Goddess quad.

The final brush is for eyeliner. It is very similar to MAC 266 & perfect for use with a gel liner or a dark eyeshadow & allows for great precision & makes the whole process a little easier!

I love these brushes & actually prefer the silver handles to the original colours. These are a great addition to my collection & I know I will enjoy using them! They are also easy to wash & dry quickly so there is nothing not to love!
