My favourite haircare products of 2014 featuring Kerastase, TIGI & Macadamia Natural Oil

Today's favourites post is all things haircare. First off, I have dry, coloured & damaged hair so the products that I mention are all tailored to that specific hair type. I have a few products that are just non-negotiable for me now!

First up are two Kerastase products. The first is a shampoo from the Discipline range, which was a new release from the brand this year. This is an anti-frizz shampoo & it is the best shampoo that I have ever used. It leaves my hair so silky & soft that I actually think I could go without conditioner if I had to, which is no mean feat with my damaged hair! The second Kerastase product is an oil. It is their Elixir Ultime Versatile Beautifying Oil and I find it brilliant as a post-wash treatment. It makes it so much easier to comb through & adds a nice shine to my hair. I sometimes also use it after I have dried & straightened my hair. It also smells amazing! A little goes a long way, so a bottle would last at least a year.

Next up is my favourite hair mask EVER! It is Macadamia Deep Repair Masque from the Macadamia Natural Oil range. This mask leaves my hair seriously glossy and deeply nourished. This mask is a must-have for anybody who has dry/damaged hair, I leave it on for at lest 15-20 minutes, but longer if I have the time. It also smells delicious!

The best product that I have found for adding volume to my hair is TIGI's Bed Head Superstar Queen for a Day Thickening Spray. This product is very reasonably priced & is phenomenal at quadrupling my hair. It also holds the volume until the next wash.

All of these products have been previously reviewed individually on the blog.

  3. Great post, I am definitely adding that Macademia hair mask to my list of things to buy as it sounds like something my hair could benefit from since London water is super harsh x

  4. I live in an area where the water is really badly affected by lime & I find this mask to be brilliant - it has been a long search to find 'the one'! xx
