REVIEW: Bobbi Brown Full Coverage Face Brush

I bought this Bobbi Brown Full Coverage Face Brush before Christmas & put it to one side & had totally forgotten about it when I purchased the Louise Young LY34. I found it in a drawer last week & have really been enjoying using it. It is probably the shortest foundation brush I have ever used, which means that I can get very precise application and I can really get into all of the nooks & crannies of my face.
It is super soft and has very tightly packed bristles, which delivers the ultimate in flawless finishes. It can be used for powder, cream & liquid formula foundations, although I have only used it with liquid foundation so can only vouch for that. I have found that it seems to make my open pores on my cheeks disappear, which I am delighted about because I don't like seeing them, but they are not clogged so no worries there either. It definitely provides a full coverage look, so if you prefer a more natural look, I would go for a brush that is less densely packed, but if medium - full coverage is your thing, then this is the brush for you.

I have had no problems with it shedding hair when washed. I have washed it 3 times already & it really is as good as new each time. At €40, it was quite the investment because it costs more than my actual foundation, but I can see this brush lasting me a long time & I just adore the polished, flawless look it delivers.

Do you use any Bobbi Brown brushes? What is your favourite foundation brush?

  1. Ah it's great when you shell out a lot of cash but it's worth it!

  2. Yes, I was hesitant because like I said, it cost more than my foundation but it is totally worth it!

  3. I purchased my first Bobbi Brown brush last year, the Bronzer Brush. It sheds a little but I do like it. Always interested to hear how their other brushes perform. :-)

  4. The blush brush is next on my list!

  5. I have been wanting to try this and also the white face blender brush from them (Tanya Burr has used it a lot in her videos). It's good to hear that it's such a great brush so maybe I will invest in one eventually x

  6. Never tried any Bobbi Brown brushes because they are so expensive. Is it better than the RT buffing brush? That's my favourite and so far, I haven't tried anything I like better x

  7. I prefer it to the RT buffing brush because the finish is flawless - having said that, my buffing brush was dying a death & wasn't at it's best recently. Big price difference though!! xx

I really love to read your comments & appreciate all of them!
