My favourite nude lip liners featuring MAC, Too Faced, Charlotte Tilbury, Urban Decay & No. 7

I've always been a fan of a nude lip - in fact, it was really only last year that I started to wear bright colours on my lips. Prior to that, I was all about the nude & whilst I was tidying my make-up drawers recently, I realised that I have quite a few nude lip liners & I thought I would share them with you today.

First up are three from MAC, two of which I bought recently and one that I have used on & off for about 10 years. Soar & Whirl are the most recent additions. I love MAC lip pencils because I find them quite creamy & non-drying on the lips. Soar is a pinky/mauve nude, whereas Whirl is a brown nude, but both look great on their own, with lipstick or with gloss. Spice is a deeper colour than Whirl, but if you're going for the '90s lip with the darker liner than lipstick, this could be the one for you. Brave is the perfect lipstick to wear with all 3 lip pencils.

On to my two Charlotte Tilbury lip pencils: Iconic Nude & Pillowtalk. Like MAC lip pencils, these are very creamy and comfortable on the lips. Iconic Nude is a true nude & is more brown toned than Pillowtalk, which is more pink-toned. Both of these are brilliant for re-shaping your lips, although I am personally not a fan of the overdrawn lip. I am now on my second Pillowtalk - it is practically all I have worn for the last year. I especially love to wear these with YSL'S Rouge Volupte in #1 Nude Beige or MAC Creme Cup.

Too Faced Perfect Nude is my next nude lip pencil & I think this is the perfect true nude of all that I own. It matches my natural lip colour perfectly so sometimes I just wear this with some lip balm if I am unsure what to wear but feel the need to not leave my lips completely bare on a minimal make-up day.

No. 7's Precision Nude lip pencil is another favourite, but my one gripe with it is that I find it can break quite easily. It is a twist up pencil and it seems like the casing is a little too loose/wide for the actual product, which means it can snap when any pressure is applied. I don't think I will repurchase for this reason.

Finally, I have Native from Urban Decay, which is a beautiful, very natural nude. I also have the matching lipstick, which I love as it is not so nude that it makes me look like a corpse! My only gripe is that the pencil is a little drying on the lips, but I can get over that & wear loads of lip balm.

Please tell me what your favourite nude lip pencil is? Am I missing the ultimate nude lip pencil?! I used to love one that from the brand Seventeen, but it has been discontinued which is a real shame as it was the absolute perfect nude & was very affordable.

Thanks for reading.
