Empties & speedy reviews #11 featuring This Works, Dermalogica, Origins, Vita Liberata, GLAMGLOW & more!

I've finished quite a few products in the last few weeks so it's empties time again with some speedy reviews thrown in!

Skincare:

I finished quite a few skincare products in the last few weeks including my beloved Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair, which I will definitely be repurchasing because although it's expensive, it is a must-have for me. It keeps my skin hydrated and repairs damage, whilst also helping to reduce sensitivity and heal spots whenever they appear. This is a holy grail product for me.

I finished 3 face masks this month: GLAMGLOW Powermud (reviewed here), Dermalogica Multivitamin Power Recovery Masque and Dermalogica Skin Refining Masque. I really enjoyed using the Powermud mask but I probably won't repurchase at the moment because I have quite a few masks to use up, but also because I really want to try the new Charlotte Tilbury Clay Goddess mask. Dermalogica Multivitamin Power Recovery Masque has been a staple for years and I will repurchase at some point because it is one I can depend on to brighten, hydrate and repair my skin, but I won't repurchase the Refining Mask because I prefer other masks that I own over it.

This Works Clean Moisture Scrub is not actually empty but I don't like it so won't finish it. It is the first This Works product that I have used and not liked or found to be very effective. It just didn't seem to do anything for my skin.

I finished a small bottle of Caudalie Beauty Elixir, which I really like but it isn't a necessity so I won't be repurchasing at the moment but probably will do at some point in the future when I feel like a treat! I also finished a mini Ole Henriksen Truth Serum Collagen Booster, which I won't be repurchasing because I didn't find it to be as effective as other products in my stash. Finally for skincare, I finished my second pot of Plantscription, which I really love. I have just recently bought a Darphin moisturiser so won't repurchase this at the moment, but definitely will at some point in the future.

Body products:

I eventually got around to using Vita Liberata Extra Rich Tinted Self Tanning Lotion in Dark because I has finished a few Xen Tans recently and thought I should use this as I bought it last year. I like the colour that this tan gives but I really don't like the smell or how patchy it goes as it fades so I probably won't repurchase. If they change the scent, I might!

I finished 2 body washes and really like both of them. Kneipp Body Wash is great to help relieve sinus congestion so I will repurchase this and I also finished Therapie Boost Hair & Body Wash which I like and will repurchase in the future - probably in winter when the uplifting scent is a real treat in the mornings!

Surprisingly, I only have 1 body lotion this month and that is Bath & Bodyworks French Lavender & Honey Body Lotion, which I really enjoyed using. My friend gave me this, but this range isn't sold here so I won't be able to repurchase but I would if I could!

I also finished one of my favourite body scrubs: Clarins Toning Body Polisher. I adore this scrub. I don't know if it makes any difference toning wise, but it leaves my skin smooth and silky when I use it. I won't repurchase at the moment because I have just bought 2 new body scrubs, which I will be showing in the coming days and they are more budget-friendly but at some point in the future, I will repurchase this.

Miscellaneous:

I finished a large bottle of Deep Sleep Pillow Spray, which is a must have product for me & I have already repurchased it.

I also finished a bottle of Sally Hansen Moisturising Nail Polish Remover, which I find great and I do feel it helps to keep moisture in my nails. I have already repurchased it. Finally, I finished a small bottle of Carmex Aloe Vera Hand Gel and I have already repurchased it. I always have one of these in my handbag!

That's the end of this whopper empties post! Tell me if you've used any of these products or leave your empties posts below because I love reading them because I think if you finish a product, then you must love it!

  1. The Caudalie Beauty Elixir has been on my wishlist for a while, is it worth the splurge?
