Recent purchases #19 featuring GLAMGLOW, L'Occitane, Kat Von D, By Terry & more!

I've finished up a good number of products lately so needed to stock up again & also wanted to try some products that I have had my eye on for a while so this has culminated in a haul that I want to share with you today. I didn't buy all of these at once, but over the last few weeks but have kept them all unopened so I could put them all in one post!

First up is a repurchase, it's GLAMGLOW Youthmud mask. I finished a pot recently & even in the short few weeks I was without it, I could see a change in my skin's texture and it also looked more congested so I knew that I had to repurchase this. As soon as I finish this post, I will be applying this mask because my skin has been crying out for it.

I needed a new serum because my skin needs help with hydration and wanted to try a new one, so after a bit of research I decided on Kiehl's Hydro-Plumping Re-Texturizing Serum Concentrate. This claims to plump the skin and significantly reduce the look of dull, tired-looking skin. Sounds like exactly what I need at the moment. I am hoping that the combination of both this & the Youthmud mask will have my skin behaving again. I will report back when I have been using it for a while.

I needed a new detangling spray because I have quite knotty hair, so I gave into the hype and bought Unite 7 Seconds Condition Leave in Detangler because I have heard Fleur de Force and Lily Pebbles both rave about this. I hope it lives up to my expectations because it was more expensive than the product I normally use! Again, I will let you know my thoughts in a few weeks.

In terms of make-up, I bought two products. Both eye products because I seem to be addicted to eye shadows (is there an eye-shadow-holics support group out there?!). As soon as I saw the Kat Von D Light & Shade Eye Contour Palette, I knew that I had to have it. I bought it from Rose's Beauty Store and it arrived within a week of despatch. I don't own any all matte palettes but I also really liked the layout of this one - it is in 3 sections and each section has 4 shadows that work well together to create each eye look. There are warm, cool & neutral tones in there and I can see myself using this A LOT! It is my first Kat Von D purchase so I am very excited to use it. I have wanted a By Terry Ombre Blackstar Cream Eyeshadow for over a year now but only succumbed recently when Feel Unique began to sell By Terry products. I had a £5 discount code, which eased the pain of the price (a little!). I chose Misty Rock because that is the one I have wanted from the start. It was either that or Bronze Moon so if I like this one, I may end up going back for more. I am very excited to finally own this & can't wait to use it.

Finally, I had a bit of a L'Occitane splurge! Summer is coming so it's time to start working on the skin that has been hidden under layers for a few months! I love the Amande Shower Oil, so repurchased that but also bought the matching Supple Skin Oil and Tonic Body Oil. The plan is to use the Tonic Body Oil on my legs, bum & tum and the Supple Skin Oil everywhere else. I will let you know if I see/feel any difference in my skin.

So that's the end of my haul. I am really excited to get using these products and will let you know my thoughts on them. Tell me what you have been buying recently in the comments below or your thoughts on any of the products above! I always love to hear about new products or repurchases that are staples.

  15. When I put them together for this post, it seemed very spendy but because I bought them at separate stages it didn't feel quite as splurgy! I think I do that to ease the guilt! I'm really loving the L'Occitane Tonic Oil already! xx
