The Just One Tag!

I read this tag on Becoming Becca blog and thought it would be a challenge to just choose one product from each category to keep so thought I would give it a go today! It wasn't easy, but here goes!

Lipstick: This has to be YSL Rouge Volupte #1 Nude Beige. This lipstick goes with every look, it is so comfortable to wear & lasts for about 3-4 hours before it needs re-applying. I adore the packaging too!

Lip Gloss: Another YSL product - YSL Gloss Volupte in the shade #19 Rose Orfevre. This is a beautiful peachy pink with a slight gold shimmer running through it. It smells of apricots and it very glossy, but not too sticky. It reminds me on the gloss I wore on my wedding day that has since been discontinued! Beautiful!

Blush: This is where I am going to cheat slightly & say my Hourglass Ambient Blush Palette. I just adore these blushes, they are very blendable and give a very "lit from within" look to the face. Love them!

Eyeshadow single: This is where is starts to get really tough for me! Eye shadows are my weakness, but if I had to pick a single one, then I would choose Inglot AMC Pure Pigment Eyeshadow in 85. This is a loose pigment that is multi-tonal and can look brown, green, blue & almost red at times. I really love it!

Eyeshadow palette: This is without doubt, the toughest category for me because I am a total palette addict! I changed my mind so many times, but think that ultimately it has to be my MAC custom palette, but because I chose each shadow individually & specifically to my taste. Some of my favourites are Patina, Mulch, Satin Taupe, Quarry, Club, Naked Lunch, Sumptuous Olive & Greensmoke but I could go on & on! I have three of these, so you can tell that I love MAC eye shadows. It was a very close call between this & the Lorac Pro Palette & Too Faced Chocolate Palette.

Mascara: This has to be YSL Faux Cils mascara because it has been a staple for me for many, many years and is the one I always go back to. I love how deeply black it is & the dramatic and voluminous look it gives my lashes. Too Faced Better Than Sex mascara is a very close second.

Foundation: Another toughie, but they all are! I think that like the YSL mascara, because it has been a staple in my collection for so many years, it has to be Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk foundation. I just know I can rely on this for a flawless look and for its staying power.

Bronzer/Powder: Nars Laguna has been a staple for a few years now, but I have only just purchased Charlotte Tilbury Filmstar Bronze & Glow, so that may change!

Facial Cleanser: This has to be Elemis Pro-Collagen Cleansing Balm. I am now on my 7th or 8th tub of this and I just love how my skin feels very clean, but also very nourished when I use this. Will be forever repurchased.

Nail Polish: I wear so many different colours of nail polish, but when I really thought about just wearing one and choosing one that would suit both toes & fingers, I narrowed it down to Jessica Red Delight. This a bright, vibrant red that applies evenly, without streaking and lasts well on my nails. It isn't too pink, too berry, too orange - just a true, perfect red.

Two items I would buy over and over again: This was probably the easiest category for me & the two that jumped out at me were Charlotte Tilbury Lip Cheat Lip Pencil in Pillow Talk because it goes with so many lipsticks & looks great worn alone and Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair because it hydrates my skin and heals it at the same time. An absolute staple for me.

So that's the end of the tag - I hope you enjoyed reading it, although I think a few categories would be great: highlighter, moisturiser, exfoliator, perfume, concealer and contour to name a few!

I tag the following ladies:

Gemma from Miss Makeup Magpie
Hayley from The Glasgow Girl
Shelby from Beauty and a Blog
