A budget beauty haul featuring Garnier, L'Oreal, CoLab & more!

Like most people, I love a bit of luxury in my life but there are some areas where I don't feel it is necessary to only use high end products. When it comes to body care, the majority of my products are from budget brands - yes, I like to indulge in L'Occitane from time to time, but in general, I find that products from the drugstore work perfectly well for me. Today, I am going to share with you my most recent budget beauty haul.

For body scrubs, I really think that two of the best I have used are L'Oreal Sublime Bronze Exfotonic Body Polishing Gel (€11.27) and Garnier Oil Beauty Oil Infused Nourishing Scrub (€10.08). I love both of these products and find them both to be very effective. The L'Oreal one had a very refreshing scent and is perfect for pre-tanning exfoliation. The Garnier one is nourishing, so would be very suitable for those with dry skin and it contains 4 nourishing oils: Argan, Macadamia, Almond and Rose. This has a very warm, comforting scent. Both are quite gritty, which I like in a scrub because you don't have to scrub too hard to get rid of all of the dead skin cells.

I also bought the body lotion (€7.04) from the Garnier Oil Beauty Range because I find it deeply moisturises my skin, without leaving it greasy so it is perfect for summer when trying to maintain a tan. Also, I bought a body butter from Original Source : Skin Quench Moisturising Lime & Coconut Oil (€5.33). I bought the lotion version a few months back & enjoyed it so thought I would try the body butter for a change. I also bought a small pot of Garnier Intense Care for Body, Hands and Face (€2.82), which I thought would be handy to have in my handbag.

Next on to haircare products and I bought another bottle of CoLab Dry Shampoo (€4.44) in the London scent, because that is my favourite one. I find this to be the best dry shampoo that I have used and love how it doesn't leave my hair feeling dirty of looking white! I also picked up a small bottle of Schwarzkopf Gliss Colour Shine Tonic (£2.49). I used to love this product years ago as a finishing spray to add shine, so thought I'd try it again.

Finally, as a nail polish addict, no beauty haul would be complete with some new nail colours! I saw the first one on the beautiful Alina's blog last week & had to buy it because the colour looked right up my street. It is Models Own Purple Bandana (£4.99) and it looks like the perfect pinky/purple shade for summer! I also bought a polish from the Cinderella Collection from Morgan Taylor in the shade Watch Your Step, Sister! This is a beautiful coral/pink, which I think will also be perfect for summer.

So that's the end of my haul. Have you tried any of these products? Are you a fan of budget beauty products?
