Hydration heroes featuring Sarah Chapman, Estee Lauder, Omorovicza, Nude & more!

I love hydrating products all year round but in autumn/winter, I really rely on them to help combat the effects of the cold weather and central heating/open fire on my skin. Today I am sharing my current most used hydration heroes. Some are used daily, others a few times a week but they are all key features in my current skincare routine. Obviously drinking lots of water is more important than anything I could ever apply to my face, so I make sure to drink a lot of water every day. Fortunately, I love water and have never drunk tea or coffee so water is my drink of choice anyway.

First up are the products that I use daily. My skincare routine wouldn't be complete without using a facial spray and the one that I am currently using both morning and night is Omorovicza Queen of Hungary Mist. I reviewed this here so won't waffle on about it for too long but it is a very effective (if somewhat pricey) hydrating spray - very refreshing, a light scent, adds hydration and dewiness.

The next product that I use daily is Sarah Chapman Skinesis Intense Hydrating Booster. This serum can be used both morning & night and delivers an instant surge of hydration. It has a pipette dispenser, which I love because I would probably use too much product otherwise. It is a clear liquid with a very slightly oily texture that absorbs immediately and make the skin look plump and hydrated. It contains hyaluronic acid - the ultimate hydration hero! It is expensive but definitely one of the better serums that I have used.

Finally for daily use is Estee Lauder Hydrationist Maximum Moisture Creme for dry skin. I have been searching for a moisturiser that would deliver a good dose of hydration to my skin without leaving it shiny or greasy, and this does exactly that. My skin feels hydrated and supple and not at all tight. What I also love about this moisturiser is that the effect is long-lasting - I hate if I touch my face and it feels dry within an hour or two of applying my moisturiser, but that is not the case with this cream.

The two products that I use two or three times weekly, mainly at night are GLAMGLOW ThirstyMud and Nude ProGenius Treatment Oil. I have spoken about ThirsyMud a lot on my blog so I won't say too much more but suffice to say, this is the most hydrating mask that I own and it is the perfect overnight product to use if your skin is looking or feeling dry, tight, flaky and uncomfortable. It will counteract all of those problems and you will wake up with plump, soft, hydrated skin. The Nude Oil is probably the best facial oil that I have ever used. It contains omegas 3, 6, 7 and 9 and it instantly transforms the skin. It is very moisturising, yet non-greasy and about 3 drops will cover my entire face & neck. It can be worn alone or in conjunction with moisturiser if you really feel that you need extra moisture and a drop or two can also be used with your foundation if you choose. It deeply nourishes the skin and softens fine lines and reduces any redness caused by dry skin.

I would love to know if you have used any of these products? If you suffer from dehydrated and dry skin, I'd also love to hear what your hero products are? Please tell me in the comments below!
