Patisserie De Bain - The budget brand for lovers of sweet scented body products

On Wednesday I wrote about some beautiful citrus-scented products but I know that not everybody likes that kind of scent so today I am sharing some sweet-scented bath and body products with you from Patisserie De Bain and not only do they smell and look great, they are very budget-friendly too! They also donate 50p from each product sold to the Rays of Sunshine charity, which brightens the lives of seriously ill children.

Patisserie De Bain kindly sent me these products in this really cute box and before I even opened it, I could smell all of the amazing products. Inside was a shower gel, a body lotion, a soap and three hand creams and lots of tissue paper with the company logo on it. All of the products were well protected.

I love the retro packaging of all of the products and it is not at all flimsy, which is pretty amazing given the price point of the products. The first product I tried was the Créme Patissiére Shower Gel, which has a very warm, vanilla scent. It isn't sickly-sweet but is very strong-scented so you will love it if you are a vanilla fan but hate if you aren't. Luckily, I love vanilla scents. This 175ml tube is a bargain at £2.99. It lathers well and doesn't leave my skin feeling too stripped. A bug thumbs up from me.

I was sent two products from the Strawberry Cupcake range - a hand & body lotion and a soap cake slice. I was a little bit hesitant about trying these initially because whilst I love to eat strawberries, I sometimes find that strawberry-scented body products are too sweet and artificial for me. These products are actually quite lightly fragranced so I have been enjoying using the body lotion - it is quite a thick lotion but it absorbs easily & quickly and is great value at £4.99 for 200ml. My 4 year old niece took the soap for her ensuite & it is encouraging her to wash her hands very frequently so her Mam is happy!

Finally, I have three hand creams, all priced at £3.99 for 50ml. The ones I was sent are Raspberry Roulade, Blackcurrant & Apricot Coulis and Rhubarb and Custard.  The Blackcurrant & Apricot Coulis is my favourite because it reminds me of dewberry products that I used to love from The Body Shop back in the day! All three hand creams are very moisturising but take a little while to absorb so I tend to use them last thing at night or if I'm watching tv - basically any time when I don't need to use my hands soon after applying!

They have a number of other scent variations in their collection so there should be something to suit all tastes - I have my eye on their Orange Crush range next! I think the prices are really good, especially given that they donate to charity for every product purchased and I know that the vintage packaging will appeal to lots of people. They also offer free delivery on orders over £25 in the UK.

Have you tried Patisserie De Bain products? Do you like the sound of any of these? I would love to hear in the comments below!

All products are bought by me, unless otherwise stated. Patisserie De Bain kindly sent all of these products to me but I wasn't obliged to write about them. Opinion is always my own.
