Some new additions to my skincare collection featuring Aurelia Probiotic Skincare, B.Liv, La Roche Posay and Dr Dennis Gross

Skincare, Exfoliant, Face Mask, Eye Cream, Cleanser, Serum, Review, B.Liv, La Roche Posay, Aurelia Probiotic Skincare, Dr Dennis Gross

I'm a self-confessed skincare junkie but I also need some consistency in my routine, which means that I don't like to try too many new products into my routine at once. That being said, a change is sometimes needed because my skin can get too used to the same products so with that in mind, today I am showing you some recent additions to my skincare routine.

La Roche-Posay Redermic Eyes: I had a little sample of this eye cream over the summer and I really, really liked it so I bought the full size as I have finished a few eye creams that had been open for a while over the past month or so. It contains a retinol booster and caffeine so it is both anti-aging and de-puffing, resulting in a younger, more rested look in the eye area. I only need to use a tiny amount so this 15ml tube should last a long time. I also love that it's in a tube so that I can control the amount I dispense.

Dr. Dennis Gross Skincare Alpha Beta Peel: Caroline Hirons has raved about these for years but I only recently tried the few samples that I had and was instantly hooked. A spot decided to erupt on my chin the night before I went away for the weekend so I wanted something to combat it that wasn't too bulky for my travel bag, hence me reaching for these. I used it on the Friday night and rubbed quite vigorously with part one, as that's what Caroline does when I've seen her use them in videos, and then followed with part two and the next morning, the spot had all but disappeared - the redness and swelling had gone down. These pads contain glycolic, lactic, malic, citric and salicylic acids as well as resveratrol and a host of other anti-aging ingredients. They obviously do more than treat spots because they exfoliate the skin to reveal a polished, glowing look that feels soft. I personally don't use them daily (which is a good thing for my bank balance) as I find that daily exfoliation just doesn't suit my skin at the moment, however 2/3 times a week will keep my skin soft and smooth.

Aurelia Probiotic Skincare Miracle Cleanser: This is not new to me as I used it previously but I was recently sent some Aurelia products so I have started to use this as my morning cleanse. It is a cream cleanser that I massage into the skin before removing with a bamboo muslin cloth. It leaves my skin almost translucent, calm and soothed. It is the perfect morning cleanse and I love the scent of eucalyptus as it helps to clear my sinuses without being too strong. Full review here.

Aurelia Probiotic Skincare Cell Repair Night Oil: Again, this is a product that I have used previously (review here). I just love the scent of this as it contains neroli, rose, lavender and mandarin oils - both uplifting and soothing. I use this as the last step in my night-time routine and take the time to really massage it into my skin. I wake to glowing, nourished skin so it is the perfect product for this time of year when the central heating takes its toll on the skin.

Aurelia Probiotic Skincare Cell Revitalise Day Moisturiser: This was also sent to me and what I love about this and the other products I have tried from Aurelia, is that they are very calming and soothing so they really suit my reactive skin. This moisturiser is quite rich in texture, yet it melts into the skin and doesn't feel heavy or greasy. I wouldn't say that it is the most nourishing moisturiser I have used, however combined with the right serum, it is sufficient for my skin. I generally prefer a moisturiser with a bit more 'slip' to it so I think this would work better for normal-dry skins rather than very dry skin like mine or it will work better for me in Spring.

If Aurelia is a brand that you are interested in trying, I would recommend checking out their Christmas sets (here) because it's a good way to try a number of products at a discounted price. Using the code AURELIA10 gives you 10% off your first order.

B.Liv Hydrate Away Moisturizing Bio-Cellulose Mask: Finally, I have this set of sheet masks that were kindly sent to me. These masks are unlike most other sheet masks that I have used in the past because they act like a second skin with their fit so I can walk around without the risk of it falling off my face! The mask itself is completely drenched in essence and protected by two covers on either side, which are removed before applying to the face for around 20 minutes but to be honest, I tend to leave it on for longer. The essence is packed with minerals and amino acids and I always massage any excess into my skin when I remove the mask. It contains algae, which protects the skin against free radicals and also repairs the skin and rice extract and hyaluronic acid; both of which really moisturise the skin. It is honestly one of the most hydrating masks I have ever used and results in my skin looking plump and glowing and also feeling very soothed and comfortable. I would highly recommend these to any other Sahara-skinned ladies or gents reading this!

Have you used any of these products? What products have you added to your routine recently? I'd love to hear!
