Cream shadows for a quick, easy eye featuring Butter London, Natasha Denona & more!

Whilst I'm all for going all out with my makeup over the festive season (see post here), there are some days when I really can't be bothered with blending lots of eyeshadows, but I still want to look put together and like I have made an effort. Cream shadows are perfect for days like these! Today, I want to share five options for lazy days!

Butter LONDON Glazen Eye Gloss: I didn't think a glossy eye would suit me but this has really surprised me! It has a creamy-gel texture that dries like a powder. It's very lightweight, yet long-lasting and I think that this shade Spark works really well with the glossy finish as it's a metallic shade. I find that it doesn't crease on me at all and can be built in intensity. An all round winner!

Marc Jacobs Twinkle Pop Eyeshadow Stick: Like I said in my Brand Focus post, I love this shadow stick because it applies and blends easily on the lids. It's really long-lasting and this golden taupe shade is ideal for the Christmas season.

Natasha Denona Chroma Crystal Top Coat: I love the creamy texture of these shadows - they can be applied for a sheer wash of colour or built up to achieve stronger intensity. Either way, the sparkly effect is really beautiful. This nude shade is universally flattering and can even be worn on the lips!

Charlotte Tilbury Eyes To Mesmerise: I have the shade Veruschka, which is a grey/green/gold hybrid. This is so easy to apply and blend - done in under a minute! I find that it lasts around 6 hours before it begins to crease but I have very oily lids so on normal or dry lids, it would last a lot longer. I love the formula so will definitely buy another shade at some point!

By Terry Ombre Blackstar: Finally, the shadow stick that started my journey into non-powder shadows! These shadow sticks are really creamy in texture but dry to a powder finish. I absolutely have to use a primer with these shadow sticks otherwise they crease and disappear within an hour or two, but with a primer, I will get a good 8/9 hours. I love this shade, Bronze Moon as it's very flattering on my green eyes but I think it would be a universally flattering shade!

Are you a fan of shadow sticks or cream shadows? What are your go-to shadows for lazy days or when you're short on time? I'd love to hear!
