Five Favourites from Benefit!

Benefit Hoola Review, Benefit Galifornia Review, Benefit BadGal Bang Review, Benefit Porefessional Review, Benefit Gimme Brow Review

I really enjoyed doing my series of Brand Focus posts on the blog last year and you all seemed to enjoy them too! I'm going to continue that series this year but there are some brands that I don't have enough products from to do a whole Brand Focus, so instead I am going to pick my top five favourites to share with you, starting today with Benefit.

Gimme Brow: Benefit is synonymous with brows and with good reason because they have so many options - pencils, gels, powders, pomades, mascaras and more and I really could have done an entire post on their Brow Products alone but I had to choose only one and that's Gimme Brow. This little wonder product adds volume to the brows without looking harsh or clumpy and it is just so quick and easy to use!

Hoola: The classic bronzer that most people have had in their makeup bag at some point! I love this because I can contour with it, use it on my eyes or as an all over bronzer. It isn't too orange, too bronze or too grey - just the perfect shade to warm up the face and give a sunkissed glow! Plus the small box is ideal for popping in my handbag as it isn't bulky and I can use the small brush that comes with it when I'm on the go and I love that it has a mirror inside the lid.

Galifornia: I have tried a few of the boxed blushes and my favourite has to be Galifornia! The pinky peach shade screams summer and is flattering on my medium skin tone. I love that is has a fine golden shimmer running through it because it helps to add life to my complexion without leaving my face looking like a discoball and it doesn't highlight texture or pores.

The POREfessional: I have gone through a few mini tubes of this primer - the mini size is perfect for me as I don't use it all over my face, just in the areas that I think need help with minimising the appearance of pores. I tend to pat a little bit on the sides of my nose or between my brows before applying my foundation and it really does act like polyfilla, helping my foundation to glide over those areas for a smooth, flawless look. The new Pearl version is next on my list!

BadGAL Bang Mascara: This recent release is the best Benefit mascara that I've tried - I found the previous releases to be pretty hit and miss but this one adds length and volume, which I love. It has a very wet formula, which can take some getting used to but the upside of that is that it builds well. I have a full review here.

Are you a Benefit fan? I'd love to hear what your favourite products from the brand are?

You can shop directly from the Benefit site, Debenhams, Boots, Lookfantastic, House of Fraser and Cult Beauty.
