It's time to share some products that I am currently loving and using very regularly (either daily or weekly) with you again! One is a rediscovery and the others are relatively new to my routine but all are firm favourites!
Antipodes Aura Mask: I had read so many rave reviews of this mask since I started to read blogs and it had been on my 'to buy' list for quite a while so I was delighted to receive it recently and already know that it will be a repurchase. Manuka Honey is renowned for its healing properties - it has been recommended to me by several doctors and whilst I'm not crazy about the taste, I have seen its benefits. The taste doesn't matter though when I'm applying it to my face! This mask is described as being suitable for all skin types and I agree with that - there is no skin condition or type that wouldn't benefit from being plumped and healed. I like to apply a thick layer of this after I have used either a mud mask or an exfoliating mask, to balance and hydrate my skin. I leave it to work its magic for around 15 minutes, before rinsing and my skin is left soft, plump and hydrated. I haven't had any blemishes in the last 5/6 weeks (I hope I haven't jinxed myself!) so I cannot comment on how it works for healing spots but I will update in the future to let you know. I love that it comes in a tube so I can be sure that I won't dispense too much product and I expect that with twice weekly use, this 75ml tube should last around 5/6 months. £22.
Neutrogena Hydro Boost Body Gel Cream: When I saw the ads on tv for this product, I knew I had to try it. In general, most of my body products are very budget-friendly and this is no exception! It's not that often that you will hear of a body product rich in hyaluronic acid that costs less than £5. I've been using this daily since buying it and I love that it absorbs very quickly, I don't need much product and it leaves my skin feeling really soft and hydrated, yet not at all greasy. £4.99.
Nars Orgasm Blush: This is a rediscovery for me because I sorted through my collection recently and just had to put this back into my everyday rotation. I have loved this blush since I first bought it around 11/12 years ago and it is the only blush that I have ever repurchased (more than once!). It is a pinky/coral hybrid shade with some very fine gold running through it and it really just adds some life to my face! It's pretty pigmented so a light handed is needed but it can be built up if desired. £24.
DHC Beauty Lift Cream: Since discovering their cleansing oil last year, I have been a big fan of DHC and this recent addition to my collection is no exception. Housed in a stunning pink jar, with gold lid, the packaging is very instagram-worthy but, as with everything in life, it's what's on the inside that counts! This is a rich moisturiser that packs a punch in terms of hydration yet it doesn't feel heavy on the skin. My skin is soft to touch nourished, smooth and plump and I think it is the perfect day moisturiser for those with dry skin. £45.50.
Pixi Extra Eye Bright Liner: I was kindly sent a number of eye products from Pixi recently (full post coming soon) and this one has made it into my everyday rotation because it makes my eyes look bigger and more awake. I have tried a number of flesh coloured eye pencils in the past but most look too unnatural - either very white or pink-toned, which made my eyes look more tired. This pencil is the perfect balance between white/flesh and pink and it really does instantly make me look more awake when I use it. I apply it on my waterline before applying mascara and it doesn't make my sensitive eyes water. £12.
Have you tried any of these products? What are your current standout and most used products? I'd love to hear!
