Summer in a bottle!

Estée Lauder Bronze Goddess, Jo Malone Wood Sage & Sea Salt, Korres Ginger Lime, Sol De Janeiro Brazilian Bum Bum Cream & Body Mist, Tom Ford Eau De Soleil Blanc, Tory Burch Bel Azur, The scent of summer

Lots of people describe a perfume as 'summer in a bottle' but, for me, there isn't just one scent that describes summer to me - some transport me to the beach, some make me think of pina coladas and sun cream and others to my Granda's garden where I spent so much time every summer as a child! Today I want to share with you the fragrances that remind me of summer!

Sol De Janeiro Brazilian Body Crush Fragrance Mist: This is a rich pistachio and salted caramel scent - very sweet, as you can imagine and it really screams summer to me! It's a sensual scent that really reminds me of beach holidays but it's only one for sweet and warm fragrance lovers!

Estée Lauder Bronze Goddess: This is the classic summer in a bottle scent! It has notes of bergamot, mandarin and coconut and it really reminds me of sun cream and pina coladas (not that I drink them as they're a bit too rich for my taste!). It's warm and sweet but not as sweet as the Brazilian Body Crush Mist. This scent instantly puts me in a good mood because it makes me think of summer holidays!

Jo Malone Wood Sage & Sea Salt: This is completely different from the previous two scents because it's actually quite masculine and not sweet at all! For me, this scent reminds me of the seaside as it's almost sharp like the salty air at the beach, which makes it fresh but it is also woody. This is suitable for wear all year round!

Tom Ford Eau De Soleil Blanc: My new love! My husband keeps telling me that I smell like a summer holiday when I wear this! Not as sweet as Bronze Goddess but warm with the inclusion of amber but also citrus fruits and orange blossom to tone down the warmth slightly. This is a very sensual scent that reminds me of warm summer nights.

Tory Burch Bel Azur: The stunning blue ombré bottle makes me think of the Greek Islands! The fragrance itself has notes of mandarin, tuberose, bergamot, vertiver and neroli. These all combine to create what is initially a citrusy scent but dries down to a woody/musky scent after an hour or so. It's like a combination of Eau De Soleil Blanc and Wood Sage & Sea Salt!

Korres Ginger Lime: Finally, I wish this was in perfume form but it's a shower gel and body lotion. Korres do the most amazing scent combinations and this new offering is no exception. It's zesty without being too sharp and very much reminds me of the lemon verbena plants that my Granda used to have around his front door. It smells clean, fresh and citrusy and when I use both the shower gel and body lotion, the scent lasts on my clothes and skin for hours - if only they sold a perfume and candle in this scent, I would be in heaven!

Have you tried any of these perfumes? I would love to hear what scent immediately makes you think of summer!
