5 products I'm currently loving!

Erborian Bamboo Glow Review, Escentric Molecules 01 Review, Favourties, Lancaster Tan Maximiser Review, VENeffect Anti-Aging Eye Treatment Review, Youth Lab Cleansing Water Review,

It's time for an update on the products that I am currently loving and have been reaching for most often over the past few weeks!

VENeffect Anti-aging Eye Treatment: This brand is a recent edition to the Cult Beauty line up and I was kindly sent some products to try. The products are aimed at women who are showing signs of aging - our oestrogen levels decline as we age and in turn, collagen production decreases. VENeffect was developed by two sisters; one of whom is a gynaecologist and the other who has over 20 years experience in the beauty industry, to mimic the effects of oestrogen through 100% natural, plant-based 'phyto-oestrogens' which are completely safe. The result is plump, glowing and young-looking skin.

I'm quite fussy about eye products because my eyes are quite watery and sensitive so I can't use anything too perfumed and I also like a product that will actually hydrate and plump the under eye area as I find that my concealer is less likely to crease if the area is nourished. This eye treatment ticks all of the boxes for me! First of all, I like that it has a pump - for hygiene reasons, I wish all eye creams came with a pump! The product itself feels refreshing and the texture is light but nourishing. It doesn't leave any residue on the skin that would cause foundation or concealer to pill or separate, yet it instantly plumps and smooths the under eye area. I have been using this consistently both morning and night for around 4 weeks and I have noticed that the appearance of my fine lines has diminished significantly and as a result, my entire eye area looks brighter, less fatigued and requires less concealer. Only a tiny amount is required per use - one pump is sufficient for both of my eyes so although this is pricey, it will last a long time and for the results it gives, it will definitely be worth a  repurchase when I finally run out. Also, it is worth noting that my skin is incredibly sensitive to Shea Butter but this has not broken me out at all but that generally wouldn't happen in my eye area anyway. It also hasn't caused any milia, which some eye products do if they are too rich in texture. I also love the lip treatment in this line but that will be featured in a future post!

Youth Lab Fresh Cleansing Water: I was also kindly sent some Youth Lab products and this particular product couldn't have come at a better time because I had lash extensions applied, which meant that I couldn't use my usual cleansing oil to remove my makeup as that would break down the glue and they would fall out! I generally find that micellar waters either dry my skin out or leave a film on it but this cleansing water does neither of those things - if anything, it leaves it feeling clean but hydrated and not at all stripped. It removes all makeup in one swipe and feels refreshing on the skin! I have a post on some other Youth Lab products coming soon, which I am excited to share with you because it is one of my favourite affordable brand discoveries this year!

Erborian Bamboo Glow Dewy Effect Cream: We all know at this stage that I am all about the glow - I personally find glow-inducing products to be very flattering and more youthful on my skin. This particular product is a 2-in-1 - it hydrates the skin whilst adding some glow, but don't worry, it's not a discoball/glittery effect - it just adds some luminosity that makes the skin look fresh without looking greasy. It feels refreshing on the skin and hydrates without leaving any heavy feeling or residue - it's perfect for the hot weather we have been having! If you prefer a matte finish, they also have an option for you!

Lancaster Tan Maximiser Aftersun: This is, without doubt, the very best aftersun that I have ever used (and I have tried so many brands!). It hydrates the skin without leaving it feeling sticky or greasy and the soft feeling can be felt for hours after application. I have also found that it maintains my tan without the use of any active tanning ingredients (I know that there are aftersuns with a hint of fake tan in them but this is not one of those). It intensifies melanin production, without exposure to the sun, so if you want your tan to last longer than it normally does after a holiday (or the current spell of fab weather), then this is the product for you!

Escentric Molecules 01: I received this in the Cult Beauty Birthday Box a few weeks ago and I honestly have never received so many compliments on a fragrance! It is different from other perfumes in that it only contains one ingredient - Iso E Super, which combines with the wearer's pheromones to create a unique scent. It is unisex and I think it would be ideal for those who generally find that perfumes give them a headache or find perfumes over-powering because it's subtle but still noticeable. My husband loves it on me but I have also had strangers ask me what perfume I am wearing. If you haven't tried it yet, I really urge you to give it a go! I can see this being a forever repurchase.

What have you been loving recently? Are you enjoying the good weather?
