Cult Beauty is 10! My favourite picks from the site!

Cult Beauty is 10!

One of my favourite beauty sites recently celebrated its 10th Birthday! I was very sad to have missed Cult Beauty's party but they kindly sent me a box of goodies to celebrate their birthday - I must admit that I let out a squeal when I received it! Packed with lots of my favourite products, sweets and a biscuit - it really felt like it was my birthday! I have discovered so many amazing brands via Cult Beauty over the years and there are some of their bestsellers in the box.

There were two cleansers: Oskia Renaissance Cleansing Gel and MOA The Green Balm. I've raved about the Oskia cleansers on numerous occasions previously - it has a gel texture than transforms into oily balm when massaged into the skin and then a milk when emulsified. It leaves the skin looking bright and feeling soft, smooth and deeply cleansed but not at all stripped. The MOA cleansing balm is new to me and so far, so good with it - my dry and sensitive skin loves how nourishing it feels but I'll review in full at a later date. Another skincare classic is Alpha-H Liquid Gold, which I have repurchased so many times. One of the original liquid exfoliants, this works wonders for textured, dull, congested skin.

From the Queen of Brows, Anastasia Beverly Hills, there are two products in the box: Brow Wiz and Dipbrow Pomade. The Brow Wiz is the original retractable pencil with a fine nib - often copied since its release and it makes filling in my brows a quick and easy job. Dipbrow Pomade is perfect for defined brows - it's easy to use and very long-lasting (said to be waterproof but I haven't tested that theory).

Another classic in the box is the original Beauty Blender, which I use on a daily basis - whether it's to apply my foundation or to finish, because it ensures that my base looks seamless. Everybody needs a Beauty Blender in their life because they can be used for liquid highlighters, liquid blush, foundation and concealer. I'll be using it to apply the RMS Living Luminizer, which I am very excited to use as I really love liquid and cream highlighters at the moment.

I didn't buy the original Huda Rose Gold palette because there were mixed reviews but I love her other palettes so I was absolutely over the moon to find the Rose Gold Remastered Palette in the box! This deserves a whole post of its own so expect that soon! I was delighted to see a Huda Beauty Liquid Matte lipstick in the box because there are very few liquid lipsticks that I actually like but these are fab because they aren't at all drying and are actually comfortable to wear.

Finally, a perfume that I have heard lots about over the years is Escentric Molecules Molecule 01 and I have wanted to try it for so long! This smells different on everyone because it reacts with each persons pheromones to create an individual scent. I love this concept and it's perfect for those who haven't found their signature scent or who sometimes find perfumes too strong or to give them a headache.

Now on to some of my favourite products and brands that are available from Cult Beauty. Most will be of no surprise to regular readers! Therapie Himalayan Detox Salts is one of my most repurchased products because they guarantee me a good nights sleep and I think everyone would benefit from them! Champagne Pop from Becca is the first highlighter that I have hit pan on - soft, buttery, finely milled, which makes it a dream to use and it's a very flattering shade. It's hard to beat Anastasia Beverly Hills eyeshadows due to their pigmentation, texture, longevity and blendability. If you don't own any, trust me when I tell you that you need them in your life! I basically love everything I've tried from Charlotte Tilbury in terms of makeup but if you have yet to try anything, I would suggest starting with the lipsticks! In terms of skincare, two of my favourite brands that Cult Beauty stocks are Omorovicza and Sunday Riley. Both have game changing products that are effective but not harsh on the skin - they are pricey brands but well worth the price tags for the results they give! I could honestly list products all day because I've tried the majority of the brands on Cult Beauty but what I love is that they are constantly bringing new brands and products to the site, and the free samples with orders gives me the chance to sample other products before buying. What I am currently most excited about on site are the limited edition 10th Birthday Specials - all are products that are permanent releases but these limited edition products have the 10th birthday logo on them or are duos at reduced prices. I know I'll definitely be buying some!

I would love to hear what your favourite Cult Beauty brands are and I'd also be curious to hear if you can remember what your first purchase was from them?
