Summer morning cleansers suitable for all skin types and PMD Clean review

PMD Clean Review, Verso Foaming Cleanser Review, Omorovicza, Hydra Melting Cleanser Review, Oskia Renaissance Cleansing Gel Review

Although my favourite type of cleanser is a balm, on these hot summer mornings, I find that a gel or mousse is more suitable as it feels refreshing on the skin. I have three that I am using in rotation and a new cleansing device, which I've really been enjoying using: PMD Clean, that I want to share my thoughts on with you today!

Verso Foaming Cleanser: You will have read me rave about this cleanser previously on the blog here. Foaming cleansers usually aren't great for those with dry skin but this one is different because it doesn't strip the skin or leave it feeling uncomfortable. It has a mousse texture that foams when water is added and it works really well with the PMD Clean that I will review below, but can obviously be used with hands alone. When rinsed, skin is left soft, clear and feeling fresh. Use the code BBUKPRO25  to receive a 25% discount on all Verso products on MMCLPRO here.

Oskia Renaissance Cleansing Gel: This gel transforms to oil when massaged into the skin and then to  milk when emulsified. Suitable for all skin types, this instantly brightens the skin thanks to the fruit enzymes it contains. Skin is left radiant, soft and smooth. The perfect morning cleanse although it can also be used to remove makeup.

Omorovicza Hydra Melting Cleanser: I love that Omorovicza have repackaged this cleanser with a pump, because the product itself is amazing but the old packaging was prone to breaking. It has a soft gel texture that I massage into dry skin before adding water to emulsify. I find that this cleanser is brilliant if my skin is feeling or looking inflamed because all Omorovicza products contain their patented healing concentrate, which instantly soothes the skin. The result is calm, soft, hydrated, fresh skin.

PMD Clean: The latest release from PMD is this silicone cleansing device, which is available in three colours. I was kindly sent the blush with rose gold accent, but there is also Navy with Gold and Teal with Aluminium available. I love that this is silicone because it's more hygienic than traditional cleansing brushes and it's easy to clean. On one side of the head, the bristles are suitable for cleansing and the reverse side is the massage head. It uses over 7000 vibrations per minute (not that I tried counting!) to deeply penetrate the skin to give a thorough cleanse. After applying my cleanser of choice, I use the PMD Clean (with water) in circular motions all over my face. There are two cleansing modes: Gentle Vibration and Intense Vibration - I would personally recommend starting with the gentle mode before progressing to the intense. I like to spend extra time focusing on my nose and chin to make sure that these areas get a very deep cleanse. Whichever mode I use, my skin is calm and not irritated by it as the head isn't abrasive. When I turn it over to use the massage side, I particularly focus on the jaw and cheek area to prevent the dreaded jowls! I use this side when applying my serum to penetrate the skin more deeply so the product can really do its job. It also feels very relaxing, which is a bonus. The PMD Clean is powered by an AA battery so there's no need to worry about charging it. Overall, it's a great addition to my skincare stash.

What type of cleanser do you favour in the mornings? Do you have any recommendations for me?
