Regular readers will know that I no longer do monthly favourites but every so often I will post about products that I am using consistently and really loving. Today, I have 6 products to share with you!
Moroccanoil Dry Shampoo: This is the best dry shampoo that I have used. They have both light tones and dark tones versions available and I have the dark tones one. Most dry shampoos tend to leave a white cast in the hair but this one doesn't. It also makes the hair smell fresh and feel clean rather than just feeling like the oil has been absorbed. It also washes out easily without the need for a clarifying shampoo.
L'Occitane Shea Intensive Foot Balm: This is an intensely nourishing foot cream but it doesn't feel at all greasy or slippy. A little goes a long way and I love that it's in a tube as it means that there will be no waste. Despite the cold temps, heating and open fire, my feet are soft and smooth because of this fabulous foot balm.
Guerlain L'Or Radiance Concentrate with pure gold: I saw Tati talk about this primer so many times but it's pretty pricey so I resisted for a long time but when Debenhams had a 15% discount event in early December, I bit the bullet and bought it. The reason I love this primer so much is that it lifts my skin and makes it look plump, firm and youthful. The little gold flecks also make the skin look more radiant. It's very light in texture and absorbs instantly. I've tried several foundations over this primer and they all apply evenly and smoothly and look fresh. I also love that a little goes a long way with it - just as well considering that it's pricey!
Too Faced Peach Perfect Comfort Matte Foundation: I bought this foundation in New York last March and used it for a few months, then I kind of forgot about it for a while but before Christmas I started to use it again and fell back in love. The coverage is a solid medium with one layer but a second builds it up further if necessary. The finish is matte, but not flat, in fact I would say it leans more towards satin-matte. It glides over pores and areas of texture to give the skin a flawless look and it doesn't budge or break down at all. It really is a beautiful foundation and I'm glad that I rediscovered it.
Jo Loves Pomelo Perfume: My love of Jo Malone products has been well documented on the blog, but this is my first Jo Loves fragrance and I am in love! It is a citrus scent but it isn't too sharp because it also contains notes of vetiver and suede. It is fresh, zesty and uplifting and the scent lasts a good 6/7 hours on the skin. It would last longer if layered with the matching shower gel and body lotion.
Marc Jacobs The Bronzer Brush: I have wanted this bronzer brush for a few years but the price tag was always too high. Thankfully, on Black Friday, it was reduced by 40% which brought it down to a more reasonable (yet still high) price and I decided to go for it. It is so soft but densely packed and I find that it applies just the right amount of bronzer and it ensures that it doesn't look patchy or muddy as it just applies an even veil of product all over my face. I'm so glad that I invested!
Have you tried any of these products? What are you currently loving? I'd love to hear!
