The Big Cult Quiz Of The Year - are you a Beauty School Drop Out or a Beauty Guru?

Cult Beauty Discount Code

You all know that I am a huge fan of Cult Beauty and I like to think that I keep up to date with new product and brand releases (while at the same time letting any drama in the beauty world go over my head!), so I was interested to see what my results would be when I took the Big Cult Quiz of The Year! Whether you think you're up to speed with the beauty world or are just new to it, it is worth taking the quiz (link here) as there is a guaranteed prize at the end of it!

In the quiz, there are 20 multiple choice questions to answer, based on products releases this year, skincare ingredients and more. Don't worry, you don't need to get them all right in order to win a prize and it doesn't take long to complete. At the end, you will be told your score and whether you are a Beauty Guru, Beauty School Drop Out or somewhere in between! You then get to spin the wheel to reveal your prize. There are five prizes available:

Free Tote Bag
Free Shipping
10% discount
15% discount
25% discount

The discounts are pretty brilliant, especially at this time of year when we're buying gifts (or treating yourself!).I was lucky enough to win a 15% discount, which I will be using very soon. Take the quiz here and let me know what prize you win!

If you are wondering what to use your discount on (don't tell me you don't have a wish list?!), I have some great suggestions for you!

Omorovicza: The brand that has yet to let me down with a product! I honestly couldn't rave about this brand enough but my top two recommendations are Ultramoor Mud Mask and Midnight Radiance Mask. The Ultramoor mask deeply cleanses the skin but it also lifts and firms and is basically a facial in a jar. The Midnight Radiance mask guarantees me a good skin day the morning after using it as it leaves skin translucent, plump and bright. Reviews of both here.

Emma Hardie Moringa Cleansing Cloth: This balm is ultra nourishing, yet non-greasy. It's a real pleasure to use and I love seeing my makeup melt away as I massage it into my skin. The cloth that comes with it is amazing quality and lasts well over 12 months! Review here.

Sarah Chapman Intense Hydrating Booster: This silky liquid is a God-send for those with dry or dehydrated skin! It seriously packs a punch in terms of hydration to leave skin plump, soft and soothed. Perfect for the current climate! Review here.

Overose: For a decadent treat, a candle is the way to go! These candles are absolutely beautiful - the scent combinations are delicate rather than potent but they still fill the room with fragrance without giving a headache. They are also very aesthetically pleasing! Review here.

Cover FX Gripping Primer: This primer is a game changer for those who find that their foundation disappears throughout the day and is one that most people will appreciate with the upcoming party season where we expect a lot from our base with long days and late nights! There is no chance of makeup disappearing when you use this. Review here.

IT Cosmetics CC Cream: Don't let the CC in the name fool you into thinking this is like a tinted moisturiser because it offers much more coverage than you'd expect. This offers medium coverage with one layer and can be built to full with a second. It glides over pores, covers redness with a satin finish, all without feeling at all heavy on the skin. It also contains SPF 50. Review here.

As for my wishlist and what I might use my discount code on - well, it's never-ending but my top picks are:

Zelens ProVitamin D Fortifying Vitamin Mist: I already love the Power D Drops, which really strengthen and calm my skin so I want to try the mist as I'm keen to protect and hydrate skin on a daily basis.

Dr Dennis Gross Ferulic + Retinol Eye Serum: I love this brand and find that the pads and peel really make a huge difference to the texture of my skin so it's only natural that I want to try more. Anything that will help with elasticity and firmness in my eye area will always be on my wishlist so I need to try this!

Kate Somerville Kx Active Concentrates Bio-Mimicking Peptides Serum: It promises tighter, firmer, smoother and refreshed-looking skin so I NEED IT!!

RevitaBrow: I'm currently around 7 weeks into using the lash serum and it's working wonders so I need to try the brow serum. I over-tweezed (never plucked - we pluck turkeys, not brows) my brows in the last '90s and '00s and I'm now paying the price. I need to give this a go!

If you want to win a prize and test your knowledge, take the quiz here and please share your results in the comments below - I'm nosy! What would you buy using a Cult Beauty discount?
