GLAMGLOW ThirstyCleanse - my updated thoughts

I gave my initial thoughts on the GLAMGLOW ThirstyCleanse in early April and promised to update you all when I had been using it a while longer so that I would have a better opinion on how it was suiting my skin. I had such high hopes for this product because the ThirstyMud mask is one of my favourite discoveries of the last few years.
My skin is dry, sensitive and dehydrated so I really thought that having a hydrating cleanser would help to combat those problems. Initially, I quite liked this cleanser, but I was definitely underwhelmed. As time progressed, I grew to realise that this cleanser definitely wasn't for me. Instead of hydrating my skin, it left it very dry and absolutely parched. I had little patches of what looked like eczema around my eyes and on my cheeks and some really sore boil-like spots around my jawline. The more I used it, the worse these patches got, so I stopped after about 2 weeks. This is not the cleanser for me! My skin is only starting to recover now but is still not back to how it was before I began to use this cleanser.

I would think that this cleanser might be suitable for normal or combination skin types, but definitely not those with dry skin in my opinion. The mud to foam aspect is interesting, but it just didn't work for me, unfortunately. I gave it to a friend who has been using it for a few weeks, with no problems, but she has oily/combo skin so completely different to my skin type. I still use the mask and love it - I really don't see that ever changing so I will just put this one down to experience.

Are you going to try any of the GlamGlow cleansers?
