Empties & speedy reviews #34 featuring Ren, Glamglow, Omorovicza, Oskia, This Works and more!

It's empties time again and over the past few weeks I have finished some of my favourite products. I'm really committed to finishing off products that have been open for a while and I'm delighted that my shelves are less heaving and my stash is becoming more streamlined. I have a mixture of skin, hair and body care products so let's get started!

Skincare:

Clarins Beauty Flash Balm: I couldn't even hazard a guess at how many tubes of this I have gone through! I just love it - my skin looks bright, plump and radiant when I use this. It is also soothing and all foundations apply beautifully over it. It has been a staple for many, many years now and I have already repurchased.

GLAMGLOW ThirstyMud: Another one of my favourite skincare products. I have used all of the Glamglow masks but this is the only one that I would feel the need to repurchase - in fact, I have repurchased it several times over the past 3 years since I first tried it. I leave it on overnight and wake up to soft, nourished, plump and comfortable skin. It's the most hydrating mask that I have used and it doesn't clog my pores at all. I have already repurchased,

REN Glycol Lactic Radiance Renewal Mask: Another product that I have repurchased several times. This is one of those products that give instant, visible results and you can almost feel the dead skin cells being eaten when it is applied. I really love this mask and although Oskia Renaissance Mask is very similar, I have found that I've missed this mask since finishing it so I will repurchase at some point.

Oskia Renaissance Cleansing Gel: Another favourite! Why is it that so many favourites are finished at the same time?! I love this for my morning cleanse - it's a gel/balm hybrid that dissolves into oil and it is brightening but gentle at the same time. Read more in my brand focus post here. I have around 8 cleansers on the go at the moment so don't need to repurchase at the moment but I definitely will.

Omorovicza Queen of Hungary Mist: I adore this mist - it is soothing and hydrating and has the finest spray of any mist I own. It is ideal to use after acid toning but also just to refresh my makeup throughout the day. The glass bottle isn't very handbag-friendly but it is ideal for on your desk and it doesn't help that it looks very pretty. Read more in my brand focus post here. I have a few facial sprays on the go at the moment, but this is one I will definitely repurchase at some point.

Haircare:

Lee Stafford Hair Growth Leave In Treatment: I love the hair mask in this range so thought I would try this leave in treatment. I sprayed it on damp hair after washing before brushing through with a tangle teezer and found that it helped detangle my hair without any tugging. I love the scent of this range - kind of reminds me of Thierry Mugler Angel but not quite as strong. I can't comment on the hair growth aspect of it but as a detangling spray, it worked and my hair dried very smoothly afterwards. I will probably repurchase when it's on 3 for 2 offer in Boots.

Revlon Professional Equave Detangling Shampoo: The leave in conditioner from this range is my all time favourite so I thought I would try the shampoo. I love how clean my hair feels when I use this, but not stripped however I can't say that my hair was less tangled as a result of using it so am not inclined to repurchase.

Perfume:

Cerutti 1881: I have been wearing this perfume for around 20 years now and I don't think that I will ever stop! It's a warm, musky, floral, sophisticated scent and I honestly can't get enough of it. I even wore it on my wedding day despite my brother buying me a bottle of Vera Wang classic EDP for the occasion. It is a perfume that I will forever repurchase.

Body care:

Nivea Express Hydration Body Lotion: I'm a huge fan of Nivea body care products. This body lotion delivers a good dose of moisture without being greasy or difficult to rub in. I can get dressed immediately after applying, which I love. I have already repurchased.

Omorovicza Gold Sugar Scrub: From one end of the price spectrum to the other! Regular readers will know that I am a massive fan of Omorovicza and this is no exception. This creamy scrub is really exfoliating but doesn't rip the skin so it leaves it soft, smooth and nourished - ready for the next step, whether that is tan, oil or a lotion. I absolutely love this scrub but given the price, I won't repurchase immediately but will at some point in the future for a decadent treat.

This Works Deep Sleep Bath Soak: Regular readers will know that I adore the Pillow Spray in this range and I have also used the bath oil previously but I'm not crazy about these bath salts. They do smell nice and I unwind when I use them in the bath but I don't find them to be as effective as the pillow spray or bath oil so I won't repurchase.

Bondi Sands Self Tanning Lotion Dark: I apply tan on a weekly basis and I can always rely on this tan to give me an even, streak-free tan. Although it says dark, it doesn't look unnatural and I love that it fades evenly. I have already repurchased.

Daughter of The Soil White Mulberry Body Butter:I love everything about this product - from the packaging to the story behind it and of course the body butter itself. I encourage you to read my full review here as I love brands with a purpose but the butter itself is really beautiful - it left my skin so soft and supple. I usually use budget body moisturisers as I apply them daily but I will be purchasing this as gifts for friends and family when the occasions arise.

Have you used any of these products? What have you finished recently? Do you like empties posts? I would love to hear in the comments below!

All products are bought by me, unless otherwise stated. The Omorovicza body scrub and Daughter of the Soil body butter were sent to me, everything else I bought myself. Opinion is always my own.
