The brow pencils with the finest nibs

Archery, Eyebrow Pencil, Furrowcious, Kat Von D, NYX, NYX Micro Brow Pencil, review, Signature Brow, Soap & Glory, theBalm,

Ever since Anastasia Beverly Hills released the Brow Wiz, other brands have followed suit with similar pencils - a spoolie on one end and a retractable pencil on the other, nothing groundbreaking there but it's the fine nib that made the Brow Wiz a hit. It really makes it easy to mimic the look of brow hairs - ideal for those of us with sparse brows or gaps. My problem with the Brow Wiz is that the spoolie end breaks off every.single.time! Well actually what happens is, it comes off with the lid and then I have to try to pull the lid off the spoolie - a first world problem, I know! Today I want to share four alternatives to the Brow Wiz that don't have that problem.

theBalm Furrowcious Brow Pencil Review

theBalm Furrowcious: Without doubt, one of the best eyebrow pencils I have ever used - the texture isn't so stiff that it'll break but also not so soft that it'll smudge everywhere and it has a really fine nib. I can really mimic brow hairs with this pencil and it's very long-lasting. The only downside is that it only comes in 3 shades.

NYX Micro Brow Review

NYX Micro Brow: Available in 8 shades, this has a very fine nib and it's easy to achieve the natural brow look with this pencil. The staying power isn't quite as long as theBalm pencil, but it's pretty decent given the budget price of this pencil.

Kat Von D Signature Brow Pencil Review

Kat Von D Signature Brow Pencil: This is definitely the longest-lasting of all of the pencils in today's post. Available in 7 shades, the nib on this pencil is narrow - all of the others are rounded at the top, whereas this one is straight. That being said, it is very easy to use and it works well for both natural brows and more defined brows without them looking drawn on. I'm super impressed by this and would like to try the powder next!

Soap & Glory Archery Brow Pencil Review

Soap & Glory Archery: Finally, another great budget option is this pencil from Soap & Glory. It's a bit flimsier than the other pencils but as long as you aren't too heavy handed, you can achieve natural looking brows. Like the others, it has a very fine nib and it lasts around 6/7 hours on me before it needs to be re-applied.

Have you tried any of these? What's your favourite brow filling product? I'd love to hear!
