Verso Super Facial Oil With Retinol 8 - the elixir of youth! And I have a discount code for you!

Verso Super Facial Oil With Retinol 8 review and discount

If you read my post on Tuesday all about Anti-Ageing hero products, you will have seen me mention Verso Super Facial Oil and describe it as the elixir of youth! I have previously raved about Verso skincare here and explained that its patented Retinol 8 complex is what makes it different to other anti-ageing or retinol products. This complex is eight times more effective that other retinol products so the results can usually be seen more quickly than with other retinol products.

I have tried quite a few products from Verso, all of which have really impressed me and have not irritated my, sometimes quite reactive, skin at all. Actually, I have noticed that the products soothe any inflammation that I have and over the past two weeks, I have developed a rash all over my body - from my feet right up to my chin, and I have been using this oil from my forehead to my boobs to soothe the skin. (It isn't heat rash and my GP is unsure what it is at the moment. Anti-histamines are not reducing it at all!) I would use this oil all over my body if it weren't so expensive, but don't worry, I have a discount code for you!

Super Facial Oil comes in a box and inside the box is a black tube (with a very satisfying magnetic closure) and four vials of the oil - three in the box and one already in the tube - this is to protect the potency of the oil and the case protects the oil from direct sunlight. Each vial has a spray top, which I love because it means there is no scope for waste.

The oil itself is very lightweight and absorbs quite quickly. It contains canola and sunflower oil to nourish the skin, which is a welcome addition to a retinol oil as they can sometimes be drying, meaning another product has to be layered on top. I personally have not experienced any of the peeling that can be associated with retinol products, which is probably due to a combination of skin being quite used to retinols but also the fact that this oil is moisturising. I spray a small amount on to my fingers and massage into clean skin. It can be done both morning and night, if you wish (but remember your SPF) or can also be added to foundation - particularly beneficial with a full coverage or heavy foundation as it makes it easier to apply and there is no chance of it clinging to dry patches. Speaking of dry patches - you won't have when you use this oil regularly!

So why do I call it the elixir of youth? Skin is energised, strengthened, elasticized, plump, soft, retexturised, smooth, glowing and youthful when I use this oil. I wake to soft skin (almost unheard of when you have Sahara-like levels of dryness like I do naturally) and a glow with refined pores. My mother even asked me what foundation I was wearing because my skin looks even, calm, radiant and almost filtered - I wasn't wearing any foundation!

You will notice results pretty quickly with this oil. Skin will be softer, lines will be less visible, scars will fade and you will have a glow. It is expensive at £150, however I have a 25% discount code for you - BBUKPRO25 (enter at checkout), which is valid on the entire MMCLPro site until December 31st. This discount reduces this oil to £112.50. Also, because of the spray, there is no waste so the 30ml of oil will last almost a year as only a tiny amount is needed per use. Because the discount code is valid until the end of the year, you could save for this oil or possibly add it to a birthday or Christmas wish list and pass the code on!

I would love to hear your thoughts on this oil? Have you tried it, would you like to?
