Clarins have been absolutely killing it with their releases this year! They just seem to keep getting it right time and time again. Both the Spring and Summer collections included some of my most used products for each season so I was excited to see what their Autumn releases would be and I have not been disappointed. I have been a huge fan of the Natural Lip Perfectors for years so the addition of some intense shades is a very welcome addition and there is a new blush formula in eight shades in the line up too.

The reason that I have loved the Natural Lip Perfectors for years is that they are so easy to apply and top up (did you see Kate Middleton take one out to top up at Wimbledon?), they're comfortable to wear and they give the lips a hint of colour so they're ideal for no makeup days and natural makeup days. There are four new shades released for Autumn and they are all intense shades, which give more colour to the lips. I was kindly sent two: Intense Rosebud and Intense Garnet. Intense Rosebud is an everyday shade that I think would be fabulous for brides as it's a very natural shade of pink - kinda your lips, but better. Plus the applicator allows for easy top ups as the shape hugs the lips. Intense Garnet is a shade that screams Autumn to me! I love a deep berry/wine shade when September/October rolls around. These lip perfectors don't feel at all heavy on the lips and also aren't sticky - the perfect formula. They are enriched with shea butter and mango, which makes them really moisturising, like a balm, which will be perfect for the cooler months (or all year round if you have dry lips, like I do!). I also love the update to the packaging with the golden geometric print. If you have never tried these products, you are missing out!
The new Joli blush is available in eight shades and the formula is enriched with plant oils so if you usually find powder blushes a little too drying, powdery or cakey then you will love these. They aren't necessarily what you would call buttery soft in texture yet they glide onto the cheeks with ease and without any patchiness. I love that the two shades I have add a little sheen to the cheeks without looking glittery or chunky at all. Cheeky Boum is a flesh toned blush, which I personally love if I'm wearing a strong lip or eye. Cheeky Baby is a gorgeous pink - not too Barbie but think along the lines of MAC Well Dressed. I find the wear time on these blushes to be excellent - they are detectable when I am removing my makeup, which is usually around 10 hours after application. I love the packaging of the blushes because the colour on the lid relates to the shade inside and there is a mirror inside the lid and a synthetic brush, which is really soft.
I really recommend both products. I know that most people associate Clarins with skincare but they really do have some gorgeous makeup products, as you can see from this post! Have you started to think about your Autumn makeup wardrobe yet?
