I mentioned in this post how sad I am that Becca cosmetics will be closing in September. I love so many products, so I took a chance to stock up while I can. I'm still waiting for one more item to arrive (a backup of C Pop - formerly known as Champagne Pop), and I'm actually tempted to buy a few more lipsticks, because this is my first time to try them and it's love! Here's what I got....
Backlight Priming Filter Travel Size: I already have a full size of this primer, but I thought I'd buy a travel size, to have as a backup, for whenever we do get to go travelling again! This gives the skin an instant glow and acts like a filter, by blurring pores. You don't look like you've just rolled your face in glitter, but it certainly lifts the complexion instantly. It's a primer, but also works beautifully when mixed with foundation. If you use my LYMIN code at checkout, you'll save 20%.
Aqua Luminous Perfecting Foundation: I was SO HAPPY to find this in my shade, because it's sold out almost everywhere and I threw the last of my previous bottle away around Christmas, as it had separated. I had it for too long, so I won't be letting that happen with this one. Once I open it, I'll use it consistently. It has a watery texture, and the pipette can sometimes get a little clogged, but I can get over that because I adore the glowy finish that this gives my skin, without the discoball effect. It gives medium coverage and is long-lasting. It needs a little touching up around the nose after around 7/8 hours, but I tend not to wear my makeup for much longer than that anyway!
Mineral Blush in the shade Wild Honey: I have wanted this shade for so long and stumbled across it, added it to my basket immediately and checked out! Their blushes are pigmented, so you really do need to use a light hand and then build up. It is quite similar to MAC Warm Soul, which is another favourite of mine that can be worn all year round. Again, my LYMIN code works on this to save 20%.
Shimmering Skin Perfector in Prosecco Pop: There are so many shades of these highlighters, but my favourites are C-Pop and Prosecco Pop. This one is more golden in tone than C-Pop, but it still suits my medium skin tone. The formula of these highlighters is so buttery that it's almost creamy. They just cannot be beaten in terms of texture, and the wide variety of shades.
Ultimate Lipstick Love in the shade Tulip: These lipsticks are sooooo comfortable on the lips, moderately pigmented and last around 3/4 hours before needing a top up. I bought Tulip, which is photographing much darker than it actually is - it's actually a pinky nude, but it depends on your natural lip shade too. I like to pair it with MAC Spice lip pencil. I definitely plan on picking up some more of these lipsticks because they really are beautiful to wear. Again, you can use my LYMIN code to save 20% at the checkout on Look Fantastic.
Will you be stocking up on any products from this brand, or do you have any favourites? I'd love to hear!
