The fragrances I have on rotation for winter 2025

Sorry that I've been M.I.A. over the past few weeks - I've had the flu and it just wiped me out so I haven't been productive..... but I've been smelling good! No matter how ill I am, even if I can't smell or breathe through my nose, I will always be wearing perfume. It makes me feel good and that's half the battle, isn't it? Today, I'm sharing the fragrances that are on rotation for winter and I would love to hear your favourites!

Phlur Missing Person: This is my first fragrance from this brand (although I think there is another one in my Advent Calendar), which went viral around two years ago. I can absolutely see why it's so popular because it's such an easy fragrance to wear - it's soft, musky, powdery and lightly floral. It has notes of musk, jasmine and bergamot, sandalwood, white musk and orange blossom, among others. It feels very comforting to wear - like a hug in a bottle! The wear time is average at around the 5 hour mark.

Diptyque L'Eau Papier: Again, another very easy fragrance to wear, that would work all year round. I would describe it as delicate and lightly feminine, not overpowering but still detectable. It has notes of musk, mimosa and wood. It's light, airy and yet still musky and is particularly suited to daytime use. It lasts around 5 hours on the skin and slightly longer on clothes.

Armani Si: The ultimate winter fragrance that is warm, clean and comforting. Its base notes include vanilla and musk, which are perfectly balanced with notes of cassis and freesia among others. I feel like it is the best 'hug in a bottle' fragrance I've found and I always get compliments when I wear it. The longevity is excellent on this - at least 7/8 hours before a refresh is needed.

Jo Loves Amber, Lime & Bergamot: This is different from the previous fragrances as it leans more masculine but I really like that and think it truly is a unisex fragrance. The balance of amber for warmth, bergamot and lime for zesty citrus, and cedarwood and suede for woody notes, combine to create a unique scent that is neither too warm nor too sharp. The wear time is a good 7 hours, a little longer on clothes.

Escentric Molecules 01: I truly love this fragrance, which is unisex and smells slightly different on everyone. It leans slightly masculine on me but I adore it because it's unique and a scent that I know I will get compliments on when I wear it. It smells fresh, clean and musky (are we sensing a theme in my winter fragrances?!) and is ideal for year-round wear. If you are looking for a signature scent, this could be the one!

Aerin Amber Musk: The name gives the scent away - amber and musk (again!), but this blend is also powdery with a subtle hint of rose. It's soft, cosy but also sensual and a fragrance that garners many compliments as it smells 'expensive'. It has a good wear time of around 6/7 hours before needing a top up.

Tiziana Terenzi Nottebuia: Another unisex scent that leans more masculine. It is woody, citrusy, aquatic and warm all at the same time, which may sound cloying but it actually works really well and is very balanced in terms of notes, including seaweed, bergamot, lavender, vetiver, patchouli, sandalwood and leather, among others. I think that this is best suited to night-time wear and you are bound to get lots of questions and compliments if you wear it!

What are your favourite winter fragrances? I'd love to hear!
