I received both of these products for my birthday a few weeks ago and I am ridiculously in love with them and haven't used any other blush or highlight since receiving these two beauts. The products in question are Milani Baked Blush in the shade Luminoso and Laura Geller Baked Gelato Swirl Illuminator in the shade Peach Glow.
Luminoso is a bargain at €8.90 (Beautybay now stock Milani), and whilst the packaging isn't exactly luxurious, it is better/prettier than a lot of budget brands. Inside the compact is a blush and underneath is a small mirror and brush, which I probably won't use but might be handy on the go. The blush itself is a beautiful warm peach colour with a faint gold shimmer running through it, which adds luminosity but not frosty. The colour really adds life to my complexion and although quite pigmented, it doesn't look too full on when applied to the cheek although I tend to use a light hand. It blends beautifully and lasts for around 8 hours on my skin. I cannot tell you how much I love this blush - it is definitely one of my favourites in my collection and I definitely plan on buying at least one more in the range.
I had been after a peach highlighter for a while so was delighted to receive Laura Geller Peach Glow for my birthday and find that it works beautifully with the blush. It is another baked product and has a beautiful texture - almost creamy, yet not as soft as Becca highlighters. The colour is a warm pale peach colour with a fine shimmer running through it but it doesn't highlight fine lines. Again, I would love to try some of the the other colours in this range.
When these are paired together, they make me look more alive, more awake and more healthy than I actually am so I can imagine that I will be using these non-stop and neglecting my other blushes and highlighters for the foreseeable future!
Have you tried either of these products or do you have others from the brands? I'd love to hear your recommendations and thoughts in the comments below!
