Although we can see the evenings stretching a little longer already, January has been a dull and quite dreary month so to inject some life, zest and colour into my life, I've been using some gorgeous Sol De Janeiro products! The bright packaging alone is enough to put a smile on my face!
All of these products have the same delicious scent - I say delicious but I think that it is probably love/hate - I personally love it! It is a rich caramel/vanilla/pistachio scent and it screams summer to me but I can understand that not everyone loves a warm scent - especially in the shower. This gel-cream lathers really well so only a small amount is required per use. The moisture-rich ingredients in this shower gel include coconut oil, cupuacu butter and acai, all of which combine to leave my skin smooth and soft. The scent fills the bathroom and it's a nice way to start the day.
I then moisturise my body with the most famous product from the line - Bum Bum cream, which is quite rich in texture, so again, only a small amount is required per use. I would love to use this all over my body from the neck down but I stick to my stomach, bum and thighs - massaging it into my skin in circular motions. I don't know if it's just my imagination but I think that my skin is a little firmer and bouncier in those areas since I began using this cream last October and it is certainly soft.
Finally, I have been using the matching foot cream - Foot Fetish Care. This cream comes with a smoothing foot board, which I use first on dry skin to exfoliate any dry patches and then I apply this cream. It's quite rich in texture but absorbs quickly to leave my feet soft, smooth, nourished and smelling gorgeous!
I'm tempted to buy Acai Body Power Cream next! Have you tried any Sol De Janeiro products? I'd love to hear your thoughts!
