Five stunning summer fragrances....

Five stunning summer fragrances,Jo Malone Fig & Lotus Flower,Aerin Hibiscus Palm,Ouai North Bondi Eau De Parfum,Jo Loves Mango Thai Lime,Estée Lauder Bronze Goddess Azur Eau De Toilette,

I've mentioned several times on the blog before that I'm a perfume addict! I sometimes wish that I could just have one signature scent, but I just love too many! I tend to rotate my fragrances seasonally, so today I want to share my top five fragrances for summer!

Estée Lauder Bronze Goddess Azur Eau De Toilette:  I buy a bottle of Bronze Goddess every year, but this year i decided to try this variation.  Whereas the original is quite a coconut scent, this one is fresh and citrusy, due to top notes of lemon, bergamot and mandarin. The base notes contain coconut milk and musk, so it does still have some of that familiar warm scent that the original has when it dries down, but overall, it's definitely more of a citrus scent, reminiscent of summers in Southern Italy, surrounded by lemon trees. Ouai North Bondi Eau De Parfum: This is the first fragrance I've tried from this brand and I love it! It begins as a citrus fragrance, but dies down to a woody/powdery scent after time. It isn't overwhelming - when I spray it, it feels to me like a fresh summer day! The notes include apple blossom, bergamot, raspberry, jasmine, musk and sandalwood, which is quite a mix of fruity and woody notes, but a beautiful combination. Best worn as a day scent, in my opinion.

Jo Loves Mango Thai Lime: This brand can do no wrong in my eyes and this fragrance really is perfect for summer. It's sweet but with a hint of bite, due to the lime. My husband says it reminds him of his childhood summers in Trinidad, where they ate fresh mango daily and that's because the mango smells organic, rather than synthetic. It's an unusual scent, because it's both sweet and sour, but it really is beautiful and every time I wear it, I get compliments. The wear time is a good 6.7 hours.

Aerin Hibiscus Palm: I adore this fragrance because it transports me to an island with the sand between my toes, watching the sun set. It reminds me of sun cream, coconuts, pina coladas - basically summer holidays! It's a more expensive smelling version of Bronze Goddess if that even does it any justice. The notes include Hibiscus (obviously), Ylang Ylang, Coconut Milk, Musk and Vanilla, among others. It really is one of the most beautiful fragrances I've ever worn!

Jo Malone Fig & Lotus Flower: This is a very feminine fragrance that would be suitable to wear all year round, but I'm particularly enjoying it for summer as it's so light delicate and fresh. I actually got a sample sized bottle around Christmas time and I liked it then, but warmed to it more in Spring and it was on my mind ever since I finished it so I had to repurchase. Understated, yet definitely noticeable and it lasts around 5 hours on me.

I get so many compliments when I wear all of these fragrances. They're all perfect for summer, yet different enough to have all of them in my collection.

What's your favourite summer fragrance to wear? I'd love to hear!
