My skincare recipe for plump, glowing skin...

My skincare recipe for plump, glowing skin

Over the past year my skin has gone through periods of being calm and clear but also periods of being very problematic - reactive in terms of redness but also in terms of breakouts that are slow to heal. It's been tricky to adjust because for years, I never really had a spot and I had come to learn which ingredients suited me and which ones too avoid.  I do know that using my CurrentBody LED Series 2 Mask* consistently is key to keeping my skin calm, clear, plump and glowing and if I take a week off, I will see the difference in my skin so I try to use it five times a week. I have a 10% discount code for the mask and other CurrentBody products if you're interested - enter LYMINCB at the checkout. In conjunction with the mask, I have a good routine going to keep my skin hydrated, glowing and plump - that is ALWAYS my goal for my skin. I switch products up seasonally, but these are the products that I have been using in my morning routine over the past few months.

Skin Rocks The Amplifier is one of my best beauty discoveries in the past year. If you have both dry and dehydrated skin like I do, you will love this. It instantly quenches my skin's thirst, soothing, replenishing and calming my skin. I use it every day without fail. It's expensive but it lasts for months.

Rhode Glazing Mist is ideal for hydrating throughout the day as the mist action is fine and it works perfectly over makeup if I feel that it needs refreshing, as it doesn't disturb any products and it adds hydration. Obviously it can be used as part of a skincare regime too.

I seem to have developed hay fever this year and as a result, my eyes are sometimes puffy so I love to  use eye patches. Summer Fridays, Pixi and Rhode are my go-to brands with the latter being the best for helping to reduce puffiness and hydrate. Pixi and Summer Fridays both hydrate but I see less reduction in puffiness with those.

I love to use a Vitamin C in the morning, with my go to being Oskia Super C Smart-Nutrient Beauty Capsules. I really rate everything this brand does but these capsules, in particular, really help my skin to glow and feel more elasticized and resilient.

I know that not everyone loves a hyaluronic acid serum because it's present in most moisturisers but I love to use Sarah Chapman Skinesis Intense Hydrating Booster  (my BEAUTYLYMIN code will save you 21% on this if you buy from Look Fantastic) to really plump and rehydrate my skin.  My skin feels more supple when I use this and fine lines are less visible.

If I feel the need to ass a few drops of oil, I love Pixi Rose Oil Blend*, which combines rosehip, jojoba and almond oil, to nourish and replenish the skin, without feeling too heavy or greasy. I find that this oil is great in winter too when I add a drop to foundation to ensure it doesn't cling to my skin.

My moisturiser of choice for the past few months is Charlotte Tilbury Magic Cream, which I find really plumps my skin as well as adding some glow and nourishment. It's expensive but a little goes a long way.

This may seem like a lot of products to achieve glowing skin but I find that the combination has really been working for me and my skin is calm and stable at the moment, so I'm happy to use them all. They layer well without pilling and because my skin is glowing and even, I find that I am rarely reaching for foundation these days.
