My favourite bronze eyeshadows with swatches...

Too Faced Creme Brulée: Pat McGrath Bronze Struck: Natasha Denona Copper Stone: By Terry Bronze Moon: Marc Jacobs Bravo-O!: MAC Tempting, Bronze, Mulch, Bronze eyeshadows for green eyes

My go-to makeup look is a bronze eye and nude lip. I have umpteen palettes and probably every eyeshadow colour under the sun but my default is a bronze eye. It's pretty much a universally flattering eye look so I decided to share my favourites with you today and if you're in the market for a new bronze eyeshadow for summer, you might find one here! All swatches are completely unedited.

Too Faced Creme Brulée Swatch

Too Faced Creme Brulée: This shadow is from the original Chocolate Bar Palette and I have actually hit pan on it. I love the smooth formula of this shadow. It is so easy to work with and this shade is very flattering on my green eyes.

Pat McGrath Bronze Struck swatch

Pat McGrath Bronze Struck: This is from the MTHRSHP Sublime Bronze Ambition Palette. There's no doubt that Pat McGrath makeup is expensive but I have to say that her eyeshadows are the very best that I have in my collection. Intensely pigmented, smooth and creamy - they are a dream to work with.  This is a rich, deep bronze that will bring all eye colours to life.

Natasha Denona Copper Stone swatch

Natasha Denona Copper Stone: This is from the Camel Palette and although the name suggest that it's a copper shade, it leans more bronze in my eyes as there is more warm brown than orange in it. The formula of Natasha's eyeshadows is sublime and this is no exception. It's a great addition to the palette as the other neutral shades are matte and this shadow will take you from day to night.

By Terry Bronze Moon Swatch

By Terry Bronze Moon: I love the formula of these shadow sticks as they are creamy and pigmented and it means I have a complete eye look in two minutes maximum. They set quite quickly so I only apply to one eye at a time. They are literally foolproof so if eyeshadow scares you, you really can't go wrong with one of these shadow sticks.

Marc Jacobs Bravo-O! Swatch

Marc Jacobs Bravo-O!: These shadows have a gel-powder formula, which means that they apply very smoothly and are flattering even if you don't have a firm or line-free lid. Pigmented, smooth and long-lasting. I need more in my life but love this medium-bronze shade as it flattering to wear both day and night as it isn't overly metallic.

MAC Tempting, Bronze, Mulch Swatches

MAC Tempting, Bronze, Mulch: I have a soft spot for MAC shadows even though they don't receive very much hype these days.  These three shades are classics. I find that Bronze is flattering for a quick wash of colour during the day and Tempting and Mulch transform a basic matte eye into something more special in the evening. All are very easy to blend and build.

Are you a fan of bronze eye makeup? Have any of these shadows caught your eye or do you have any others to recommend that you think I would like? Id love to hear!
