Weekly DIY Facial #4

DIY Facial for dry skin
If a product was kindly sent to me, it will be marked with a *

I mentioned in my first DIY Facial post that I'm really enjoying taking care of my skin, dedicating more time to my skin as I rarely go out for facials and that a Hydrafacial or Omorovica facial would be my dream treatments, so I bought a voucher for a 6 step Hydrafacial as something to look forward to when it's safe to leave the house again and I'm feeling a lot better. It had a 33% saving and there is no expiry on it so I took it as a sign as it's something that I have wanted to get done for a few years and I need a treat to look forward to as it's been 14 weeks since I have had a relapse due to contracting Covid and some days, it takes its toll as there is no improvement at all in my health. It's also one of the things that is on my '101 things to do in 1001 days', which I started last year on my birthday. That was a bit of a tangent for the start to this post! Anyway, I wanted to share the products that I used in my most recent facial. My skin wasn't haven't any particular issues apart from the usual - dull and dry! I wasn't in the mood to multi-mask but did want to ensure that my skin would be plump and radiant afterwards. Regular readers will see some usual favourites here!

I doubled cleansed with Emma Hardie Morninga Cleansing Balm - like I've said before, this is not just a cleanse, this is an experience, so take your time with massaging it in and enjoy it.(Save 20% on this by using the code LYMIN at checkout on Look Fantastic). Skin is left really soft, cleansed and ready for the next step, which is a deep cleansing mask. My favourite is Omorovicza Ultramoor Mud Mask*, which tightens and brightens the skin - the reason why I call it Spanx for the skin. After removing this, I spritzed Omorovicza Queen Of Hungary Mist* liberally before using a few drops of my new bottle of Zelens Power D Drops (save 20% by using the code LYMIN on Look Fantastic - I was lost without this for the few weeks that I was without it. It always calms, cools and hydrates my skin and prepares it for the next steps.

I always apply my eye cream before my serum and tonight's choice is Omorovicza Reviving Eye Cream* and then Prai Throat & Decolletage Serum. Over this, I applied Omorovicza Oxygen Booster mixed with Omorovicza Gold Night Drops*, which work wonders to replenish and revive the skin overnight,

I then apply Revitalash Advanced Serum before moving on to the moisturising element. I mix a few drops of Sunday Riley Juno Antioxidant + Superfood Oil with Fresh Deep Hydration Face Cream, which is a recent purchase, that I am LOVING! This combination ensures that I wake with plump, glowing and nourished skin. Fresh is Cult Beauty's Brand Of The Month, which means there is free international shipping on all orders.

It probably seems like an excessive routine but I don't do this every night - that said, I'd love to see how my skin would look if I did perform a routine like this nightly! There isn't a product here that I wouldn't repurchase as they all suit my dry skin perfectly.

Have you used any of these products? Are you taking extra care of your skin at the moment? I dread to think what it must be like for the frontline workers who have to wear masks for long days - if that is you, I really admire you and would love to hear how you are finding things?
