Weekly DIY Facial #6

Weekly DIY Facial, Dermalogica Cleansing Gel, Dermalogica Daily Microfoliant, Dermalogica Power Recovery Masque, Caudalie Grape Water, Image Total Pure Hyaluronic Acid, AHC Hydrating Essential Real Eye Cream For Face, Sunday Riley CEO Glow Oil, Pixi Retinol Eye Cream

Weekly facial time again! This week, my skin didn't have any major issues - just needed some brightening and plumping (no change there!) so I used products that I know I can rely on - nothing new to me here but all product loves!

Ecooking Micellar Water*: I love how easily this removes my SPF and makeup. It's s spray, which you can either spray directly on to the face and then massage in or spray on to cotton wool pads and then remove makeup etc. It makes an easy job of the first layer, doesn't leave skin feeling greasy nor tight and doesn't leave eyes cloudy.  Save 20% on everything on site by using the code beautylymin at the checkout! *non affiliated code.

Dermalogica Cleansing Gel*: This cleanser isn't perfect for my skin (I prefer Ultracalming Cleanser), but in the spirit of using products up, this is back in rotation. I think this would probably work for all skin types but because I have dry and sensitive skin, I would choose the Ultracalming one over this as it's a little more hydrating. Once I make sure that the product is thoroughly rinsed from my skin, I'm ready for the next step. Full review here.

Dermalogica Daily Microfoliant: I have been using this for over around 17 years at this stage and it's totally worth the hype! It contains Salicylic Acid, Papain and Rice Enzymes in powder form, which is mixed with water to form a paste before massaging all over the face. Sometimes I just like a physical scrub and I love how polished this one leave my skin looking when rinsed thoroughly, without stripping it.

Dermalogica Power Recovery Masque: Then I went in with one of my favourite ever masks for plumping the skin and, basically, making it look five years younger! Again, a mask that I've been using for pretty much repurchasing for around 17 years! It contains Vitamins A, C and E, Linoleic Acid and Pro-Vitamin B5. This mask nourishes, plumps, soothes and repairs the skin. It's the ultimate for dull, lacklustre skin or for before a night out (or 19 weeks of being ill!!). Honestly, it leaves skin looking radiant and as though you've just had a facial.

Caudalie Grape Water*: This is so soothing and hydrating with 100% organic ingredients. It's perfect for all skin types and ideal to have to hand on hot days to cool you down, but also to use to balance the skin.

Image Total Pure Hyaluronic Acid*: I've said it before and I'll say it again - botox in a bottle!  It contains 6 forms of hyaluronic acid, in different molecular weights to give an immediate plumping effect. Fine lines appear softer and skin overall, looks plump and younger. Everybody over the age of 30 needs this in their collection!

Pixi Retinol Eye Cream*: A relatively new addition to my collection, this is my favourite product from the Pixi retinol line! It instantly makes the under eye area look smoother and less puffy. I haven't experienced any irritation with it and I have been using it nightly on my under eye area but also around my lips - to combat the dreaded lines!

AHC Hydrating Essential Real Eye Cream For Face*: I just can't get enough of this moisturiser, which I am using daily and dread the thought of finishing! I don't think that I have ever found a moisturiser be both lightweight AND nourishing. It absorbs immediately, layers well with all other products and leaves the skin looking plump & radiant.

Sunday Riley Juno Antioxidant & Superfood Face Oil: I've been loving and repurchasing this oil for around 3 years now and a few drops of this before bed seals everything in and ensures my skin is glowing and nourished the next day. It combines cold pressed oils, full of Omegas and antioxidants (grape, blueberry, blackberry & cranberry), and when I massage this in, skin is left glowing and well moisturised, but not greasy.

I'd love to hear your routine when you're going 'all in'. Do you use any of these products?
