My best beauty discoveries of 2023

As with my other 2023 favourites posts, I've decided to narrow my discoveries down to my top ten but there are easily twenty or more! Given that it's New Year's Eve, I'm assuming you'll want to do something other than read a LOOOONG blog post at midnight so brevity will prevail! I have a mixture of fragrance, hair care, skincare and body care products.....

Parfums De Marly Delina: This was one of my birthday gifts and I adore it! My old hairdresser had some of the body lotion and put some on my hands back in February and I was instantly hooked but had to wait another six months until my birthday to have it! It's expensive, and it looks and feels expensive but I adore it. The notes include lychee, rhubarb, rose, peony, musk and vanilla. It's just on the right side of sweet and I've never had so many compliments on a fragrance! I've had to write the name of it down for people who have admired it! Love, Love, Love!

DIOR Dioriviera: This was an anniversary gift from my husband and I also adore this (no surprise!). It combines notes of fig and rose for a gentle fragrance that envelopes you in a feeling of love and happiness. Probably best suited to summer but I love a fig scent regardless of the season so I'm wearing it all year round!

Armani Sï Intense*: This is a hug in a bottle! It's warm, musky, comforting and sensual. It's the ultimate date night fragrance, but also suited to daytime use, housed in a stunning bottle and the bonus is that it's refillable.

Kiehl's Powerful Strength Line Reducing Concentrate: I bought this in a set and put off using it for a while because my skin can sometimes be quite sensitive to Vitamin C products but at the beginning if September, I decided to give it a go and I've been wowed! It contains 12.5% Vitamin C in the form of 10.5% Ascorbic Acid and 2% ascorbyl glucoside, as well as Glycerin and Hyaluronic Acid for balance and to nourish the skin. It doesn't make my skin red or react in any bad way at all, in fact it's the complete opposite! My skin looks so radiant when I use this and when used consistently, the overall texture and tone is improved. It's really been a standout skincare product for me! Use the code BEAUTYLYMIN to save 21% on Look Fantastic.

Dermalogica Phyto Nature Oxygen Cream*: This has definitely been the standout moisturiser for me this year. I just love how lightweight it is, yet it really packs a punch in terms of hydrating and moisturising the skin. It really does a brilliant job in terms of reducing the appearance of fine lines and of plumping the skin for a fresh, more youthful look. Full review here.

ZIIP Halo*: I haven't been using this long enough to do a full review yet, but so far, so impressive! This is a facial toning device and it really doe lift the contours of the face - the cheekbone area, the jawline/jowls and forehead. I also find that it somehow helps with my sinus pain, which is a bonus. A full review will be coming in the new year! Save 10% on this device with the code LYMINZIIP.

Redken Acidic Bonding Concentrate Range: I adore this range of products for a number of reasons but mainly because my hair feels stronger and has less breakage and loss since I started to use the range. They don't weigh my hair down, they add shine and the protector is a brilliant product to use before styling my hair. A little goes a long way with all of the products too. Full review here. Save 21% on the range using my BEAUTYLYMIN code on Look Fantastic.

L'Oreal Professional Detox Mask: Put quite simply, this mask not only smells amazing but it makes my hair feel soft and look freshly coloured due to it removing any mineral deposit buildup. It's one of the best masks that I've used but it can't be used for every wash or it might have the opposite effect and give you product buildup, so once every 3 weeks or thereabouts is ideal. Full review here. Again, my BEAUTYLYMIN code works on this to give you a saving on Look Fantastic!

L'Occitane Lavender & CBD Range*: This range of products wowed me! I got amazing sleep when I used the massage oil, in particular. My husband couldn't believe how deeply I was sleeping because if I had a nap during the day, it was so good that I actually thought it was the next day when I woke up! The scent is beautiful - authentic, as with all products from this brand and I found that a little goes a long way,. I've reminded myself to repurchase! Full review here.

Charlotte Tilbury Magic Body Cream: An expensive body moisturiser and really I bought it just to see if it could live up to the hype and it certainly did! My goodness, this left my skin so soft, supple and nourished. A little goes a long way with it - just as well given the price! I would use daily if I won the lotto but until then, it will be an occasional treat!

I would love to hear what your favourite discoveries have been this year and could you narrow it down to just ten?!
