Skincare worth the hype

I'm a skincare fanatic and am always on the lookout for products that will add hydration, clear congestion and add radiance and plumpness to my skin. When I read about hyped up products, I often wonder if beauty bloggers are raving about them just because the products were sent to them or would they actually spend their own money on them. I've bought some hyped up products in the past that really didn't live up to the hype - for me. Today I am sharing with you products that I believe are worth the hype.

First up is Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair. This is my absolute number one skincare product. I have been using it for years & it will be forever repurchased. It heals the skin, reduces redness, plumps the skin, adds hydration, helps with acne scarring and plumps the skin. It suits all skin types and is an absolute hero product in my opinion.

Glamglow masks were very hyped up when they were first released and I have tried four of them. My two favourites are Youthmud & Thirstymud. Youthmud is great for exfoliating the skin and getting rid of congestion on the t zone. My skin looks much brighter after using this mask. I always follow it up with Thirstymud, which adds so much hydration to my skin and leave it very plump and glowing.

Another face mask that is very much worth the hype is REN Glycolactic Radiance Renewal Mask, which I find fantastic for getting rid of those pesky little bumps that appear along the jawline. It leaves the skin looking very clear and radiant and is the type of product that you will see an immediate visible difference after using. I have repurchased this mask many, many times.

Alpha H Liquid Gold is a much hyped product that I absolutely love. I tend to use this twice weekly at night and it is a brilliant chemical exfoliator. My skin looks so much brighter and clearer the morning after I use this and it really helps to heal scarring and prevent spots

Finally, the famous Pixi Glow Tonic. I use this on a daily basis as part of my morning skincare routine. It is a gentler acid tone than Liquid Gold and is ideal for even sensitive skins. I have a lot less congestion when I use this product and I prefer it to other acid toners that I have tried. My skin is clear and soft when I use Glow Tonic on a daily basis.

So those are the six skin care items that I believe are worth the hype, but keep your eyes peeled for an upcoming post, which will feature products that I love & believe don't get enough hype.

I would love to hear what products you think are worth the hype and if there are any hyped up products that you have bought that didn't live up to your expectations? Please tell me in the comments below!
