Luxury body moisturisers

I am one of those people who moisturises my body daily - my skin is so dry, that if I didn't, it would just flake off and feel tight all over! I tend to stick to budget body products, but around the festive season, I like to use a luxury body moisturiser, if possible! It's nice to have a treat, and this year in particular, after being ill for so long, I am really enjoying smothering myself in nice moisturisers, that smell amazing!  It's one of those L'Oreal "I'm worth it" kinda things. Today, I'm sharing my current five favourites. As always, anything marked with a * has been kindly gifted, without obligation.

Laura Mercier Body Soufflé: I think that this is the ultimate treat and I'd love to have the whole collection - shower gel, bath honey, hand cream and perfume! What I really love about this body moisturiser, apart from the beautiful texture, is how rich the scent is - I can smell it for hours after application, and if you don't like wearing perfume, this alone would work perfectly. Caudalie Vine Body Butter*: I adore the light orange blossom scent of this body butter - so fresh! Although it's a body butter, it isn't as rich as most body butters, it melts into the skin so easily, without feeling like you're having a workout! It really nourishes the skin, without leaving it feeling greasy, or as though there's a film on it.

L'Occitane Verbena Mandarin Melting Body Cream*: When this says 'melting', it means it - you apply it and it literally melts into the skin, as the texture is more mousse-like. It's light in texture, yet very nourishing, so it's perfect for this time of year. The scent combines mandarin with some woody notes, so it isn't too sharp, or summery.

Jo Loves Body Lotion: I think this might be my favourite fragrance brand, and I absolutely love to layer the body lotion with the perfume, to make the scent start longer Because it's a lotion, rather than a cream, it absorbs immediately, so there is no waiting around before getting dressed!

Molton Brown Juniper Jazz Body Lotion*: This year's Christmas offering is a woody, musk scent, with a hint of freshness, due to the berries and mint. It's both refreshing and comforting and a little goes a long way. Again, it absorbs quickly, so you don't need to hang around freezing, before getting dressed!

Have you tried any of these? Do you like to go a little fancier with your products over the festive season? I'd love to hear!
