The 2020 Hall of Fame: Skincare

The 2020 Hall of Fame: Skincare
Some of these products were kindly gifted to me*, but I'v also purchased them myself either before or after receiving them.

I'm a total skincare addict and I've focused on it even more this year, so it was difficult to narrow it down to my favourites. I've included only 6 products, which is amazing for me, because I could easily mention 30! Let's get into it....

Sunday Riley Good Genes: I've been using this for almost five years now, so I think speaks volumes when a blogger repurchases a product that many times. I only use it at night and it feels like it just eats away my dead skin cells, so I always wake to brighter, more even skin. It will be a forever repurchase for me and I'm so glad that it's now available in a 50ml bottle. I love both the lactic and glycolic versions and have compared them here.

Omorovicza Gold Eye Lift*: This is one of those eye creams that delivers! It contains Vitamins A & C, so not only does it brighten the skin, but it also firms the eye area - something not all eye creams can do. Skin is left bright, firm and smooth, which in turn means that I need to use less concealer. Win/win!

Omorovicza Midnight Radiance Mask: I know, I know - regular readers are probably bored listening to me talk about this mask, but I can't help it! This mask guarantees me a good skin day, the morning after use! I really never thought that Salicylic Acid would suit my dry skin, but because it's balanced with other ingredients, my skin is left hydrated and plump, as well as so clear that it's almost translucent! This will be another forever repurchase!

Estée Lauder Advanced Night Repair: Speaking of forever repurchases - I've been using this for around 12 years now. It's a non-negotiable in my routine. It's not a product that gives immediate results, but with consistent use, you will find that your skin is stronger, more elasticized, brighter, firmer and just generally  looks brighter overall. This is the new version and it's only a 30ml, so I can't say that I have noticed any difference between this and the old one, apart from the fact that the lid is very difficult to get to stay closed - it seems to roll back, which makes me worry about the preservation of the product inside  - I was glad I hadn't bought the 50ml and I'm hoping there won't be a repeat. Ecooking Peel Mask*:  If you want super smooth and baby-soft skin, this is the mask for you! It contains a triple threat of glycolic, salicylic and lactic acid, which deeply exfoliate the skin, as well as surface exfoliate to leave the skin looking brighter, feeling silky soft, and what's even better is that it works in around five minutes. It does leave the skin quite pink initially, but that soon dissipates, but for that reason, I generally use it in the evening. Save 20% on the whole site by using the code Beautylymin.

Sunday Riley Juno Oil: I adore this oil and have repurchased a number times because it makes my skin feel so soft, but also gives a gorgeous glow to my skin. It can be used morning and night, and it contains a blend of Omegas, which really nourish the skin, yet it doesn't feel greasy. I adore Sunday Riley products - the brand can do no wrong in my eyes because the products actually work!

Tell me your standout skincare products of the year! Tomorrow, I'll share my favourite discoveries & the list is definitely longer than any of the other posts this week!
