The best smelling body moisturisers to use...

The best smelling body moisturisers to use
If anything was gifted to me, it will be marked with a *

I'm one of those people who moisturises their body every single day, and even in the days when I was bedridden, I'd ask my husband to do it! My skin is so dry that if I didn't moisturise daily, it would be tight, uncomfortable and scaly - not how I want to feel. Sometimes, I use functional body lotions - just something to moisturise, other times I use oils if I feel like my skin is feeling and looking slack, and sometimes, I'll use body creams and lotions that are special and smell divine, as well as nourishing my skin. I believe in using nice things daily, rather than saving things for best, even if I'm ill and having a duvet day - actually, especially on those days. Today, I'm going to share some of my favourite scented body moisturisers with you, and I'd love to hear what your favourite is!

Laura Mercier Fresh Fig Soufflé Body Crème: This looks very rich in the jar, but it absorbs into the skin very easily and is very nourishing. I adore the fig scent, because it's fresh, subtle yet still noticeable, and combined with other products in this line, lasts for hours on the skin. It's a Spring/Summer favourite for me. Laura Mercier Almond Coconut Soufflé Body Crème: In contrast to the previous scent, but with the same gorgeous texture, this is a warm, comforting fragrance. Every single time I wear this or the perfume from the line, I get so many compliments - it definitely isn't subtle, however I wouldn't call it overpowering. I can still smell it on my clothes hours after I apply it. If you like warm scents, this is for you! Use the code BEAUTYLYMIN  at the checkout on Look Fantastic to save 21%.

Jo Loves Pomelo Body Lotion: I adore this fragrance (and most others from the brand too - I think I have six now!), and I love layering this body lotion with it in order to make the scent last longer. The lotion absorbs very quickly, and I love that it has a pump. If you like citrus scents, you will love this - it combines notes of pomelo (similar to grapefruit), with rose, vetiver and patchouli, among others, so while it opens with a burst of citrus, it dries down to a woody and citrus fragrance.

L'Occitane Almond Body Concentrate*: I adore the almond line and this is ideal to use after the shower oil, to seal in the moisture. It has a creamy texture, and a little goes a long way with it, so I would say to apply a small amount initially, rather than dabbing all over the body straight away. The scent lingers on the skin for hours, especially when combined with the oil. What's fantastic about this product is that it's refillable - a real bonus!

Sol De Janeiro Brazilian Bum Bum Cream: Another one for warm scent lovers - think pistachio mixed with vanilla and caramel - it's almost edible! This scent reminds me of holidays and the cream itself really helps with the elasticity of the skin. Again, a little goes a long way with this one and the scent lasts for hours, especially when used in conjunction with the body spray, hand cream and vast array of other products in this line.

L'Occitane Verbena Sorbet Body Gel*: Finally, the scent of summer! I adore Verbena as it's so invigorating and fresh. Pop this in the fridge for the ultimate treat and apply after your morning shower, as it absorbs quickly and you don't have to wait around naked to get dressed. The perfect product for the hot & humid weather that we're currently experiencing!

I'd love to hear what your favourite scented body product is?
