A restock and some new pick me up products!

I've been feeling a bit 'meh' lately. My skin hasn't been behaving as it should, my hair loss has been bothering me and overall I just felt like I needed a bit of a reset, so I purchased some old reliable products and some new ones in hope of feeling a bit more like myself, which I want to share with you today.

Estée Lauder Advanced Night Repair: I ran out of this a while ago and for the first time in around 16/17 years, I didn't replace immediately because I wanted to use other products up, plus I knew that I was getting a flight in April and I like to stock up in Duty Free. I bought a travel exclusive set of 2 x 100ml bottles, which should keep me going for a loooong time! When people ask me why I love this product, I can't pinpoint it to just one answer. It hydrates, strengthens, brightens and plumps the skin but it's not a product that you can see a difference with after just one use, used consistently you will notice that your skin just looks and behaves better and if you stop using it, you will notice the difference in your skin quickly. I am so happy to have this back in my life. If I ever had to choose only one 'luxury' skincare item, it would be this. I would happily use a budget cleanser and moisturiser as long as I could keep this serum. My BEAUTYLYMIN discount code saves you 21% on this on Look Fantastic.

Estée Lauder Advanced Night Repair Eye Lift + Sculpt: I also picked this up in Duty Free because I read some great reviews. Some people don't see the point in using a separate eye cream and that's fine, each to their own but I've used once since I was 21 and can't see myself ever stopping. They're not botox, so they can't completely eradicate lines, however the right ones can soften the appearance of fine lines and plump the skin in the eye area. I will report back on the results of this but so far I am loving the texture and my under eye area definitely feels plump.

Elizabeth Arden Ceramide Capsules: I have used some capsules from this brand before and really loved the results. I picked this up because it has three variety of capsules - seven of each one. They are Hyaluronic Acid + Peptides, Retinol + HPR and Ceramide Advanced. Again, I have only started using them so will have to report back but I love that I can try all three before deciding which I would like to buy the full size of.

Loving Tan 2 HR Express Self Tanning Mousse: For an instant pick me up, I love some self tan and although I will sometimes use other brands, Loving Tan will forever be my favourite brand. I love that it has a guide colour, it gives an even, streak-free, natural tan and it also fades evenly. I particularly love the express mousse because I can put it on after my shower and wash off 2 hours later, avoiding messing up my sheets and still get a gorgeous colour. I find that the key to letting the colour develop well is to ensure that I don't moisturise after rinsing - yes, even though I have dry skin! I will moisturise on subsequent days though!

Champo Pitta Hair Growth Serum: I have tried a variety of hair growth serums over the past few years and I find this one to be the best, not just in terms of results but also in terms of not making my hair greasy. I still use my CurrentBody LED Hair Growth Helmet and am happy with the results but feel that the serum will boost the growth. I was having good results but then got a really bad flu and babesia late last year/early this year and the combination accelerated hair loss. Consistency is absolutely key when it comes to products and devices for hair loss/growth. As always, I will keep you updated.

Kérastase Chronologiste Overnight Youth Serum: I finished another Kérastase overnight serum recently and saw that this version was now available so I decided to give it a go because I love the Chronologiste range. It's too early to saw if it is making a bigger difference than the other one but I love that it doesn't make my hair greasy and doesn't weight it down. It absorbs really well and a little goes a long way. I'll use anything to protect my hair!

Sweed Eyelash Growth Serum: I recently posted some empties on my Instastories and one of them was a lash serum that I wasn't overly keen on repurchasing and this one was recommended to me so when I saw it on sale, I decided to give it a go. I've only been using it a week so it's too early to tell if it's working yet but it doesn't irritate my sensitive eyes at all, which is brilliant because some lash serums in the past have made me eye area red. Here's hoping for some growth!

With consistent use, all of these products should make me look and feel a lot better in myself - tanned with long lashes, luscious locks and plump skin that doesn't look tired! Here's hoping!
