Skin Rocks The Support Oil - a wonder product!

 

I'm a huge fan of Skin Rocks (see post here) because the products are no nonsense and actually live up to their claims. I've tried pretty much every product from the brand (apart from the cleansing gel and the newly released mask) and have gone on to repurchase several of the products multiple times. It would be difficult for me to choose just one product from the brand as they are all standout products but the one that has made the most difference to my skin in recent months is The Support Oil. This could be called The Magic Oil but I know that Ms. Hirons isn't into bullsh1t unlike some other brands! This oil would live up to that name though!

I have dry skin that is also sensitive/reactive and can be prone to dullness. My aim is always hydrated, plump and glowing skin and I really want my skin to feel bouncy and elasticized (not always easy once you pass 40!). I can also be known to go a bit overboard with acids at times (trying to improve texture!) so I need products in my routine that will help to strengthen my skin's barrier, which can sometimes be compromised. I've always loved a face oil but I don't think I met 'the one' until I bought The Support Oil. 

The oil is comprised of plant derived Squalane, Sunflower Seed Oil and a blend of other oils, all of which aim to reduce redness, reduce moisture loss and help support and maintain the skin barrier function. I can honestly say that it lives up to all of those claims and it manages to do so without clogging the pores or being too heavy. 

It is used after cleansing, hydrating and after serum, if you are using one, and before moisturiser. It can be used both morning and night and you really only need 1 (maximum 2) pumps. The lids of Skin Rocks products show the correct amount to use. This instantly nourishes the skin and makes it feel more comfortable. It layers well with other products without any pilling and makeup applies beautifully over it. 

This is, without doubt, the very best face oil that I have ever used. When I wake, my skin can sometimes feel very dry but never when I use this oil. I also love how supple my skin is when I use this consistently. I apply it to my face, neck and chest, rubbing any excess into my hands and my skin has never been happier. I know that the colder months will be the real test but I just know that this oil won't disappoint. I have also converted my mother to this oil and her 70+ year old skin is loving it!

The Support Oil really is a wonder product for me and one that I will forever repurchase!
