Empties & speedy reviews #15 featuring Clarins, L'Occitane, Clarins, Neals Yard & more!

Another month, another empties post! This month I only have bodycare and skincare products to share with & review for you. I'll start with bodycare because I have more of those products.

I finished yet another bottle of  Nivea Q10 Firming Body Lotion, which is one of my favourite body lotions. It is inexpensive, very moisturising and doesn't feel greasy on the skin. I have already repurchased it!

I finished a large bottle of Crabtree & Evelyn Relaxing Body Wash, which was in the bargain gift box that I bought in Boots for €20 a few months ago. I really liked the fresh scent of this but found it a little drying on the skin so I wouldn't repurchase it.

Next up is a hand cream: Neal's Yard Bee Lovely Hand Cream, which my lovely Sister in Law gave to me. This is my second tube of this hand cream & I really like it. I prefer to use it at night because it is quite thick and doesn't absorb immediately. I love the scent!

Next up is Clarins Tonic Body Treatment Oil . I absolutely love this oil. It absorbs very quickly and has a beautiful spa-like scent. It contains the essential oils of rosemary, geranium and mint. I use this on my thighs and stomach/hip area. It's difficult to say if it tones the skin, but my skin certainly feels firmer when I use this. I will definitely repurchase.

L'Occitane Amande Shower Oil is a repurchase & I will definitely repurchase again in the future. It is perfect if you have dry skin because it really helps to moisturise the skin. This would be perfect on a sun holiday, but also in winter when heating really dries the skin out.

Finally for bodycare, I finished a bottle of L'Occitane Amande Supple Skin Oil, which I really loved. This moisturises the skin for 48 hours & was perfect for me during my recent health relapse as it meant I didn't need to moisturise every day but my skin was still soft & smooth. I will repurchase this at some point.

Skincare:

I was sad to finish  my bottle of  Kiehl's Hydro-Plumping Re-Texturising Serum Concentrate because I  really like it & my skin loved it. I reviewed it previously here  & still love it just as much. This will definitely be repurchased in the future but at the moment I'm using a Dermalogica serum.

Speaking of Dermalogica, I finished a bottle of  Daily Microfoliant. I really love this product & think it doesn't get enough hype because chemical exfoliators are more popular nowadays. I notice that when I include this in my routine, my skin is clearer and my pores are less visible. This will defintely be repurchased.

Yon ka Lotion Yon-Ka Invigorating Mist is a product that I won't be repurchasing. I just really dis-like the scent, even though it was quite hydrating. I am using Clinique Moisture Surge Spray at the moment and much prefer it so will keep repurchasing that.

I finished my second tub of Darphin Ideal Resource, which I really love. This moisturiser is perfect if you have dry or dehydrated skin and it doesn't leave any greasy residue on the skin. It is expensive but worth it if you really suffer with dry skin. I reviewed it here. I am using a Clinique moisturiser at the moment, but will definitely come back to this at some point.

Finally, I finished a tube of Rodial Stemcell Super-food glam balm Lip. This came free with a magazine last year, which is a pretty great free gift because it costs €18. I really enjoyed using this, but think that it is a bit over-priced at €18, so probably wouldn't repurchase because there are other lip balms out there that cost a lot less and work just as well.

So that's the end of my speedy reviews. Have you used any of these products or do you have them in mind for the future?
