My five favourite nail polishes for Spring featuring Nails Inc, Maybelline & Sally Hansen

Somebody needs to tell the weather that it is actually meant to Spring! Last weekend, we had hail and on Monday, the rain was so heavy that I had a (muddy) swimming pool in my garden! Anyway, in the hope that the weather decides to catch up with the season, I thought that I would share with you my top 5 nail polishes for Spring. I've put away all of my berry toned nail polishes and am ready to embrace the pastel shades in my collection!

Nails Inc Whitehall is creamy white shade with a hint of peach. I love this colour for a polished look that will go with every outfit and it is less harsh against my skin than pure white. You have to be patient when applying it though, because it can be quite streaky if you don't apply think layers. I find that this will last for around 4/5 days on me before it needs to be removed.

Sally Hansen Miracle Gel Greyfitti is a recent addition to my collection and it is my first grey. I love this range of gel polishes because only one coat is needed for an opaque finish. Greyfetti is a soft, cool-toned grey and it has a high shine finish.

Sally Hansen Miracle Gel Sugar Fix is another one coat wonder, although two coats can be layered with bubbling if you want an extra coat. It is a medium blue - not too dark or pastel, not quite cornflower. I find this range of Sally Hansen nail polishes to be quite long-lasting on me - 5/6 days and they are priced at €13.49 (although they are often on offer in Boots) - they aren't the cheapest drugstore gel polish option but they are good quality.

Maybelline Forever Strong Super Stay Gel Nail  polishes are my favourite budget nail polishes and Mint For Life is my Spring favourite of the bunch. To be honest, I have around a dozen mint nail polishes but this came out on top because it is so affordable (€5.99, but again, always on offer in Boots or the supermarket), it is non-streaky due to the wide brush and it is so long-lasting. I always get at least a week out of these nail polishes.

Nails Inc Lilly Road - I had to include another from the Nails Inc The New White range because a pale pink is pretty much a staple for me and although this is a pain to apply (although experience has made it a little easier), it is worth the effort because the baby pink shade is beautiful. I need to apply 3 very thin coats of this nail polish so it is definitely not one for when you're in a rush, but I love the result.

I'd love to hear your thoughts on these colours and also what your favourite Spring shades are? Please tell me in the comments below! Also, I'm looking for a recommendation for a pale lilac nail polish if you have one?
