The products that have me *almost* excited for Autumn!

Can you believe that tomorrow is the first day of September? In some ways the summer has flown by but in others, it feels like we really had a long summer as the good weather pretty much started in May. Regardless, we can't stop the hands of time and with Autumn almost upon us, I have been thinking about the products that I want to put into rotation over the coming months (not too soon though because I go on holiday next weekend!). I have a selection of nails and makeup and when I look at these colours, I am *almost* excited for the change in season!

I'm not doing an Autumn Edit as such, I'm focusing more on the products in my collection that scream Autumn to me and that I'm putting into rotation as I retire some of my summer makeup products.

Nail polishes:  It was actually these nail polishes that got me thinking about the season ahead and stirred some excitement in me. I love summer and all it brings but I have to admit that rich autumn shades always make the transition easier. I love the formula of CND Vinylux nail polishes - it would be impossible to get a streaky finish and two coats gives complete opacity. They also have a glossy finish and combined with the weekly top coat, I am guaranteed to be chip free for a week. I will be wearing Blue Moon and Dream Catcher a lot over the coming months!

Eyeshadows: I love warm tones all year round, but especially at this time of year and the palette that screams Autumn to me is Natasha Denona Sunset palette (review here). I adore everything about Natasha Denona eyeshadows - rivaled only by Pat McGrath in terms of pigmentation, texture, blendability and wear time. I am also currently obsessed with Urban Decay Born To Run (review here) and I can't rave enough about Marc Jacobs Gel Powder shadow in Brav-O! - this is a golden, bronze shimmer shade and the formula is so smooth that it makes lids appear line-free. I will definitely be buying a few more shades.

Lip products: Plum and berry tones always look good on the lips in Autumn but I also always have a nude lip on the go so the lipsticks that will be in rotation are Clarins Joli Rouge Gradation in Plum Gradation (post on these gorgeous new ombré lipsticks coming soon) and two from Charlotte Tilbury: Opium Noir, which is a deep berry shade and Confession, a gorgeous deep nude.

Are you an Autumn fan? Have you switched up your makeup yet?
