Smooth hair and body with Ouai?

Ouai Scalp & Body Scrub Review, Ouai Smooth Shampoo review, Ouai Smooth Conditioner review, Ouai Leave In Conditioner review

If you've been reading my blog for any amount of time, you will know that I am a big fan of Ouai haircare (see Brand Focus post here). I've tried a good number of products from the brand but have recently been obsessed with their Scalp & Body Scrub - that combined with their Smooth Shampoo and Conditioner means that both my hair and my body are silky soft and smooth! I know that it's unusual for a hair brand to expand into body products but the scrub and their Rose Hair & Body Oil are multi-use products, which I love!

Scalp & Body Scrub: I am honestly so obsessed with this scrub! From first use, I have seen a difference in both my scalp and skin on my body. I use this scrub once weekly by wetting my hair and then sectioning before massaging a small amount in circular motions into my scalp. It contains sugar, sweet almond oil, coconut oil and a multitude of other ingredients, all of which are paraben and sodium chloride free. It exfoliates the scalp but doesn't strip it or leave any residue. It also rinses out of the hair with ease, which is important! I love the clean feeling it gives and there's no better feeling than getting rid of dry shampoo and styling products build up! For the body, a little goes a long way with this scrub and it spreads very easily when massaged into the skin. Because of the oils it contains, it nourishes the skin as it exfoliates and the result is soft, smooth and supple skin. It is, without doubt, one of the best body scrubs that I have ever used! £32 for 250ml, which will lasts for months with once weekly use.

Smooth Shampoo: I have fine hair but a lot of it and it's prone to frizz. It isn't too damaged these days so I don't necessarily need to use repair products but it's just naturally frizzy so anything that will help to tame that frizz without weighing my fine hair down, will always get a thumbs up from me! This shampoo nourishes my hair while it cleanses but it rinses well and leaves my hair silky soft and smooth and it feels strong and elasticized. £22 for 300ml and a little goes a long way.

Smooth Conditioner: To further tame my frizz, I need to use conditioner every time I wash my hair. I mention this because two of my friends never use conditioner and I just cannot imagine that, but they don't have naturally frizzy hair!  This conditioner really nourishes and smooths my hair without weighing it down. It contains a blend of amino acids, keratin and other ingredients, which strengthen and tame the hair, leaving it sleek and glossy and easy to comb through. I also have to mention the scent - it's a combination of lemon, bergamot, amber, patchouli, lily and blackberry - it smells clean and fresh and is uplifting! £20 for 250ml

Leave In Conditioner: This was previously known as Smooth Spray but has been reformulated to add more nourishing and protecting ingredients. I always use a leave in conditioner to help detangle my hair but also to add protection against the heat of a hairdryer/straightener or curling wand. With this one I only need a few sprays throughout my lengths and ends and my brush glides through but it doesn't feel like there is product in my hair. £22 for 140ml.

The overall result from using all of these products, is soft, smooth, shiny, sleek hair with no flyaways to be seen! If you have frizzy hair, I highly recommend that you try these products and the scrub is a product that I think everyone would love - who doesn't want a calm scalp and soft skin?

Have you tried any Ouai products? I'd love to hear your thoughts!
