A Cult Beauty Christmas Gift Guide

Cult Beauty Christmas Gift Guide

I browse the Cult Beauty 'new in' section on a daily basis and over the past 4-6 weeks, there have been some really incredible festive launches that have set my pulse racing! I featured some of the gift sets in my recent gift guides but today I want to dedicate a whole post to some of my favourite festive picks from Cult Beauty! Most products I bought myself however those marked with * were kindly sent to me.

Peter Thomas Roth Hyaluronic Happy Hour*: Priced at only £18, this set contains a 30ml Water Drench Cloud Cream Cleanser and a 20ml Water Drench Hyaluronic Cloud Cream Hydrating Moisturiser. This set is ideal for anyone whose skin is tight and uncomfortable, particularly at this time of year. The moisturiser was one of my favourite discoveries of 2017. It contains 30% hyaluronic acid and, as the name suggests, it drenches the skin to leave it feeling soft, plump and comfortable.

Charlotte Tilbury Magic Cream: Housed in a stunning jar with rose gold lid, this product screams luxury. Packed with hyaluronic acid, aloe vera and damask rose, this moisturiser would be ideal for those with normal or combination skin. For those with very dry skin, it will work best as a primer rather than moisturiser.

Nurse Jamie Uplift Facial Massaging Beauty Roller: Everybody would benefit from this product as daily massage really does help to lift and firm the skin. In addition to that, I find that using it on the under eye area, reduces puffiness and it also really helps to relieve headaches. Full review here.

Becca Golden Glow Trio*: Nobody does a highlighter better than Becca! The texture is so soft that it feels creamy, although it's a powder formula. Applied very lightly or layered, there is no doubting the Becca glow! This set contains three of their best-selling shades: Opal, Moonstone and Champagne Pop.

Anastasia Beverly Hills Amrezy Highlighter: Recently re-released (with more stock coming soon!), this highlighter has a gel-powder formula that melts into the skin. It's less blinding on the skin than in the pan, however it can be layered for increased intensity. It's a beautiful champagne/gold colour without even the tiniest hint of glitter, so it is very flattering on the skin.

Charlotte Tilbury Filmstar Bronze & Glow: A cult classic for a reason! The bronzer in this duo can be used to add some gentle definition rather than to sculpt. I find the shade to be the perfect balance between not ashy and not too warm and the formula is really finely milled to it isn't patchy. The highlighter formula is equally as beautiful - it doesn't settle into fine lines and the champagne colour is extremely flattering. The art deco packaging is stunning - who wouldn't love to find this under the tree?

Charlotte Tilbury Bar Of Gold Palette: Another stunning offering from Charlotte Tilbury, this trio of highlighters will appeal to all age groups because the formula is so creamy that it melts into the skin and doesn't exaggerate the appearance of fine lines or textured skin. The three shades are flattering and versatile - the bronze works beautifully as an eyeshadow. Review and swatches here.

Kevyn Aucoin Nudepop Pro Eyeshadow Palette: This palette is different from a lot currently on the market because it's shunning the warm-toned trend for cooler shades of taupe, nude and purple. There are 12 shadows in matte, satin and chrome finishes. Pigmented and finely milled, these shadows are a dream to work with and the shade selection works perfectly for both day and night looks!

Anastasia Beverly Hills Sultry Eyeshadow Palette: The perfect festive palette! There are 14 shadows in both matte and metallic finishes, all buttery soft and easy to work with. It's a complete palette, as in there is a matte black and a matte beige to begin and end any look, with lots of other options to create numerous day and night looks. It's a limited edition palette and a must have for any Anastasia Beverly Hills fan!

Huda Beauty Eyeshadow Palettes: The large Huda Beauty palettes are pretty pricey at £56 each so they would be a real treat gift if your budget allows. My only bugbear with them is that a separate glitter glue is needed for the glitters but they are stunning palettes and the other shadows are easy to work with - apply beautifully and are long-lasting on the lids:  The New Nudes, Desert Dusk, Rose Gold Remastered.

Cult Beauty are currently having a palette party with 25% off a large number of palettes. Check it out here.

Sol De Janeiro Bum Bum Carnaval Extravaganza*: The scent of summer that works all year round! The pistachio and salted caramel scent runs through all of the products in this gift set, which contains a full size Brazilian Bum Bum cream, a full size Brazilian hand cream, a travel size Brazilian 4 Play Moisturising Shower Cream and a travel size Brazilian Crush Body Fragrance Mist. Layering the scent by using all four products means that it will linger on the skin for hours. Prepare for lot of questions about what fragrance you are wearing and deliciously soft skin!

Ameliorate 3 Steps To Smooth Skin Christmas Limited Edition: Frustrated with rough, chicken skin upper arms? This kit is for you! The four products exfoliate, hydrate and polish the skin to ensure that limbs are soft and smooth. Ideal for those who like to tan regularly as fake tan will always apply more evenly to smooth skin.

Overose candles: I had to mention this brand of candles - they're pricey but absolutely beautiful, and not just aesthetically. The scent is strong but not so much that it would give you a headache of overpower you, just enough to fill the room and the fragrance isn't artificial (as you would expect with a candle of this price). When the candle is finished, the jar will still look very pretty on a shelf or used as a brush holder.

Have you started (or finished) your Christmas shopping yet? Have any of these products caught your eye? I'd love to hear!
