2020 Christmas Gift Guide: Under £25

Christmas Gift Guide 2020, 2020 Christmas Gift Guide: Under £25
Anything marked with a * was kindly gifted to me, without obligation.

I know that it may seem early to be bringing you gift guides, but with Black Friday next week, there will hopefully be some good deals, plus with social distancing and nothing being the same as other years, I know that lots of people are doing their shopping early! I have something for all budgets, starting today, with under £25 and it will continue according to budget for the next few days, then I have separate posts for fragrance and candles, palettes and, finally, non-beauty. I usually do a giveaway at the end of my gift guides, but all too often I find, that people follow and comment for a few weeks, just to try to win and then whether they win, or not, they unfollow. Last year, I was on a pre-Christmas break in Rome, when I had a message from a giveaway winner, asking if I had posted her prize, I replied that I had but was on holiday so couldn't track it. She messaged the next day to say that she had received it and then proceeded to unfollow me. That left a bad taste in my mouth, as it wasn't the first time that it had happened, so this year, I have decided that I will pick random commenters, both here and on Instagram, to receive a prize each, but a lot of the items in these gift guides, will be going to homeless shelters and frontline workers, unless they are ones that I have specifically bought myself for family. I hope that you will agree that this is a fair way of doing things this year - I want people who actually engage with my content to win a prize. Now, on to today's gift guide! In each gift guide, there will be a mixture of products, which I bought myself (for gifts or maybe for myself!) and some products, which were kindly sent to me, without obligation to post. Anything sent to me will be marked with a *. I personally don't think that gifts under £25 are stocking fillers, like some people do. I think they are complete gifts and I have some great ones in this post. Also, if I have any discount codes, I will include them.

Too Faced Mini Better Than Sex Mascara* £12: I absolutely love this mascara for the volume and drama that it brings to my lashes! Also, how cute is this mini? This size is brilliant for your makeup bag, travelling (whenever we get to do that again!), or just to test the product before buying the full size. If you love very black, very big, non-flakey and non-crispy lashes, you'll love this mascara. What a cute gift!

Mor Mini Mitten Gift Set* £22: Hand creams are one of my favourite gifts every year, but I think that this year, in particular, they will be very appreciated and this set is brilliant value. It contains 5 X 50ml hand creams in the following scents: Blood Orange, Lychee Flower, Snow Gardenia, Belladonna and Bohemienne.

Biossance Let It Glow Kit £19: A brilliant way to get to know a new brand, is with a gift set. This one contains a 15ml Squalane & Lactic Acid Resurfacing Night Serum and a 12ml Squalane & Vitamin C Rose Oil. The perfect duo for brighter, firmer and nourished skin. The amount in each one is definitely enough for the recipient to decide if the product suits their skin & they want to buy the full size.

L'Occitane Pink Sunrise Fruity Light Reflection* £18: I am SO HAPPY that this brand has started to introduce more makeup, after the fruity lipsticks last year. This liquid highlighter can be blended in with either your fingers or a damp beauty sponge, on the tops of cheekbones, or on the brow bone, to give the skin a beautiful, lit from within look. A little goes a long way and I love the tube as it's easy to dispense just the right amount.

L'Occitane Verbena Festive Bauble* £12: For anybody who likes fresh, invigorating scents, you can't go wrong with this trio. It contains a 25g leaf soap, 30ml verbena body lotion and 10ml verbena hand cream. The scent is so refreshing, which makes this trio the perfect way to start the day!

L'Occitane Almond Festive Bauble* £12: I adore this range and think this set of three minis would make a beautiful gift as the almond range is perfect for the colder months, as it's so nourishing. It contains a 35ml almond shower oil, 20ml almond milk concentrate and 10ml delicious hands. Layering the scent means that it lasts even longer, which makes this a perfect little set.

Lanolips Winter Skin Essentials £14: I've raved about this brand a lot recently and this set is a great way of getting to know it. It contains three products: 101 ointment, which can basically be used everywhere from cuticles to patches of dry/sore skin after blowing your nose too often! The second product is Face Base Vitamin C Day Cream, which is for skin that has been badly affected by central heating/cold weather/too many acids, which lead to a compromised skin barrier. Everybody will use this at some point! The final product is Face Base Aussie Flyer Recovery Mask, which will be perfect for using after too many late nights over the festive season, which will show in your skin! It packs the skin with moisture, to ensure that skin is left looking plump and fresh!

Sol De Janeiro Exotic Escape £12: A duo mini body cream set - one being the original pistachio-scented Bum Bum Cream and the second is more recent Coco Cabana Cream. Both are 25ml and smell like summer holidays - we can at least close our eyes and pretend when we apply these creams!

Therapie Cocoon Bath Oil £14: This brand is all about wellbeing, using aromatherapy oils in its products to help the body to heal itself. I've raved about the Himalayan Detox Salts on the blog several times before and have featured them in previous gift guides, but I included this bath oil this year, because it really is like a hug and it helps to calm my mind, which is always running so fast. I think that most people would appreciate this after the year we've had! We all need our minds and thoughts to be a little quieter and calmer.

Slip Scrunchie Bauble £25: I spoke about how I'm using a silk pillowcase as part of my post-Covid hair loss recovery plan (here) and these scrunchies are also part of the plan. You don't need to have suffered hair loss to appreciate them, they are better for hair in general as there is less tugging, and as a result, less breakage. The bauble contains four scrunchies made from 100% silk.

Face Halo Original 3 Pack £18: The original face makeup removers, which encourage sustainability, as they are reusable (there really is no excuse to use face wipes nowadays). To use, you wet the sponge and wipe it all over your face, to remove makeup. I personally still love using cleansers but these are the answer on lazy nights or for busy people. P.S. Hand wash after each use and then throw in the washing machine once or twice weekly - they can be washed 200 times. This is the ideal gift for those who are starting their sustainability journey.

Caudalie Vine Luxury Body Gift Set* £22: This is amazing value and looks more expensive than it actually is, plus the bonus is that you don't actually *have* to wrap it if you don't want to as it looks so good as it is. It contains a 225ml Vine Body Butter and a 75ml Vine Hand Cream. The scent of these products is so fresh and the texture is whipped, so they absorb instantly, so there's no hanging around to get dressed.

Ecooking Multibalm*  23.50: This is a brilliant product to gift to anybody because it can be used as a hand cream (which we all need this year and into 2021 too), but it can also be used on dry elbows, knees, ankles, cuticles, lips, and just to nourish and calm the skin in general. A little goes a long way with this ultra-nourishing product and every house should have one. Use the code beautylymin to save 20% on this and everything else on this site.

Ark Intensive Nail and Hand Cream* £20: I honestly think you can't go wrong with a hand cream. My family say that I'm tricky to buy for but seriously, a hand cream and a pair of fluffy socks and I am over the moon! This is a really beautiful hand cream - although it says intensive in the name, it absorbs immediately and it's so nourishing, as it contains raspberry and cocoa butter. It also helps to maintain strong nails (something a lot of us need help with, due to all of the hand washing), due to the inclusion of amino acids, and I love that it just smells 'clean' - nothing overpowering going on here. A really gorgeous gift.

Ark Age Defend Mini Duo* £15: This is a brilliant way to try two products from the brand, at a fraction of the price. It contains 2 X 30ml products: Age Defend Conditioning Cleanser, which I raved about in this post - it's one of my favourite discoveries of 2020, and Replenishing Moisturiser, both housed in a mini gift box, which saves you having to wrap it. 30ml is a generous amount, and certainly enough to let you decide if the products suit your skin.

Ark Skin Essentials Mini Duo* £15: Another brilliant set, which contains 2 X 50ml products: Pre Cleanse and Makeup Remover and Hydrating Beauty Mist, both of which I reviewed in this post. Both are brilliant products - the makeup remover doesn't leave any cloudy film on the eyes and the mist is perfect for throughout the day, to hydrate and fresh the skin. A bargain at £15.

Have any of these caught your eye for your loved ones or for your own Christmas wish list? Have you started your shopping yet? I'd love to hear!
